  • "We had a lovely time at the lodge."

The location and facilities are both gorgeous. Our only point to raise is really for the owners’ attention, which is the overwhelming smell of damp in the main bathroom. Thank you for a lovely week.

Thank you for reporting the problem in the main bathroom. This will be investigated and rectified at the next change over date. We hope the problem it did not spoil your holiday. Property Owner

  • "A perfect weeks stay everything you needed was in the lodge."

The hot tub was lovely to use especially after a days walking. The lodge it self was cosy and warm the washing machine worked great as did the dishwasher. The view was amazing and to sit in the hot tub every evening and watch the world go buy was priceless. We certainly will be booking again for next year.

We are glad you had a perfect week enjoying the views, hot tub and facilities. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Many thanks Property Owner

The lodge was like a home from home so welcoming and the use of the hot tub throughout our holiday was such a bonus!

  • "For me, the location was far too remote."

An hours walk and back to a pub or shop is not nearby. Whilst the coastal areas in Cornwall are beautiful, the inland fields and moors which we could see from the lodge, do not compare with Cumbria or Northumberland - I was disappointed with the outlook. Other than that the lodge was fine, a little more drawer storage in the bedrooms would be useful.

We are sorry that you were disappointed with the view from the lodge but clearly the Cornwall country side is different to that in Cumbria and Northumberland and it becomes a question of personal choice. Many previous guests have been very complimentary about the stunning view from the lodge. With regard to the distance to the local shop and pub, these are less than a 5 minute drive from the site and can, we believe, be reliably described as “nearby”. The location and peace and quiet of the site are features that many guests like.” Property Owner

  • "You could not ask for anything else with this property."

It has everything and more you need for a beautiful relaxing holiday. The vista is astonishing and could sit for a long time taking it all in. It is not a criticism but a clearer instruction to work the washer/dryer would be handy.

  • "The attention to detail was amazing."

Down to the bathrobes and toiletries and the local milk that was provided. Beds were so comfy and all mod cons. Went for a weekend break with a friend, she had main room and I had the twin room - was so comfortable and relaxed, hot tub was amazing! It felt so private. But best point was the location, so easy to get to places. Will most definitely be going back!

  • "Absolutely beautiful place, very clean and great facilities."

The view is just stunning, we went down in a heat wave so spent a lot of time outside on the decking, the only bad thing I can think of is that the lodge got hot very quickly so when we went out and came back in it felt like a sauna but i guess that can't be helped with it being a heatwave! There is a chap that comes round in the morning unannounced to check the hot tub but that wasn't a problem for us. It is very secluded from the other lodges, big hedges in-between each so you barely see anyone which is what we wanted from our week :) Would definitely go back (but would take a fan with us next time haha)

  • "The only snag was the shower head not great in main bathroom, when any water pressure put on it wouldn't stay in place, we were 3 ladies having a chilled weekend so we all used the en-suite, we will definately be back, last year we stayed at your sister site Stonerush Lakes the same weekend booked in my friends name and they are both just absolutely lovely, the hot tubs are amazing on both sites and well looked after, on behalf of all of us a very big thankyou."

Thank you for your feedback making us aware of the issue with the shower head. We are pleased to confirm this has been rectified. We look forward to you visiting us again soon. Property Owner

The whole lodge was very well equipped (did mention that there was no chopping / bread board). Comfortable bed, high quality furnishings. Lovely site, well kept, good parking next to the lodge. Definatley a home from home. Have recommended to several friends.

  • "Do not be deceived by the rather uninspiring picture of the outside of 11 Horizon View - it is absolutely great."

This eco friendly lodge has every comfort to make your stay wonderful. The layout is perfect - two comfortable bedrooms and modern bathrooms. A spacious open plan kitchen and lounge with beautiful views. Everything worked perfectly...we could have happily moved in! The hot tub was great. The site was secure and peaceful. Located near a local shop for essentials and a 10 minute drive to a large supermarket. Lots of lovely local places to walk and only a 25 minute drive to beautiful coastal spots. Have a lovely holiday...

When we arrived they had put a lovely Christmas tree up. We have stayed in many places and find the photos of the place are not what you find, here the photos did not give the place justice. Fantastic place to stay. Highly recommend.

We wanted a nice relaxing and quiet weekend away and we got exactly that. The view was amazing, sitting in the hot tub overlooking the landscape was so peaceful and tranquil. We visited Looe, Newquay and Port Isaac which we enjoyed lovely places to visit for a wander. The cabin was amazing, comfortable bed, nice powerful showers, it had everything you needed for your stay there. We will definitely be returning again at a later date and definitely recommend it to other people.
