  • "Absolute perfection!"

Number 11 Meadow Retreat far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we loved every minute of our stay. Would not hesitate to recommend this lodge to anyone, just wished we lived just a wee bit closer! Would love to return for another wonderfully situated holiday. Thanks to all concerned.

  • "We had a really wonderful stay in this lovely lodge where you couldn’t fail to relax."

It was so comfortable and immaculate. The hot tub and spa bath was an added bonus. There were numerous places to visit within easy travelling distance. The only small drawback was there wasn’t really anywhere that you could walk to for an evening meal, we tried the village pub but although very friendly staff , it didn’t meet our expectations for food and was rather tired looking.

We couldn't fault it. The location of the site made it an excellent base for exploring Cornwall. We shall return!

  • "My partner and I had a lovely stay at Meadow Retreat!"

The cabin seemed brand new and had everything we could possibly need. We particularly loved how well kitted out the kitchen was making cooking very easy. We made great use of the hot tub and will definitely be coming back with family/friends. Thanks so much!

  • "We’ve stayed at quite a few different lodges and this is by far the best place we have stayed."

The property was exactly as expected as shown on the photos. Only negative was the bed was quite firm with lumpy pillows, not the most comfy nights sleep.

  • "We were delighted with the unit, it was really great."

Everything in the unit was perfect and the hot tub was great. It was so good that we have booked for next year. The units are well spaced and located in a peaceful area.

  • "Amazing week away in lovely location."

We always choose places with hot tubs and this was one of the best. It was advertised with a dvd player which it didn't have, same with washing machine. Also as an arcanophibic it could have done with all the spiders being removed from inside before we arrived. I would however highly recommend it and would definitely go back. The bed was also very comfortable and loved having the sun loungers.

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear you were unable to locate the washing machine. There is an integrated washer/dry under the kitchen worksurface on the side facing the dining area and can be accessed from the dining area. There has never been a DVD player in the lodge however DVD’s had been listed and have now been removed. Spiders are known to make an appearance from late summer/ earlier autumn in the countryside environment. As quickly as you remove one another takes its place during this time. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon. Property Owner

  • "The lodge we stayed in was perfect."

It was big, light and airy and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The park itself was very tranquil and we enjoyed our evenings relaxing in the hot tub. We wish we could have stayed longer.

  • "The lodge was beautiful, but since we had no fans or air conditioning at all, we had to leave windows and doors open at night, which let insects into the lodge."

We would like to see fans or air conditioning provided if we were to stay again.

No DVD player as advertised and we had no TV for one evening and due to lack of response of 24 hour call out service had to sort out myself.

  • "Loved it but not pre warned that site is yet to be finished."

Numerous empty spaces for lodges to be built and they were working on the one right next door to us so bear in mind when booking as timber cutters are on site. Not ideal when you look out and see workmen and vans and can hear them working. Despite this we enjoyed the lodge, very clean, new and modern!! Outdoor shower, loungers, patio set and sunken hot tub was so much better than other other luxury lodges we have stayed in. Not many restaurants near by.. we tried highway man pub and sadly wouldn’t recommend, didn’t enjoy our meal. Easy to get Sainsbury’s food delivered to site so that was helpful. Facilities in lodge all good. Would be nice to have more than 1 bath towel each (unsure if this is due to Covid rules). Would recommend visiting West looe, island view cafe, Polperro, Golitha falls, Lantic Bay and Coddy shack for fish and chips.

  • "Me and my boyfriend stayed here for our anniversary."

We were amazed by how beautiful and luxurious it was. It definitely exceeded my expectations and would definitely recommend to anyone and will 100% be returning in the future. It was also very clean, spacious and had incredible facilities. I also appreciate the little things they had done, like leaving a bottle of milk in the fridge and the robes. We loved it there and will definitely be back very soon!! Thank you

  • "Amazing holiday, lodge was to an exceptional standard and the location was perfect."

I have already recommended to so many of our friends and will definitely be back hopefully later on in the year. The only slight problem was the guy who came to clean our hot tub on the day of departure, we were told to leave at 10am but he just walked in at 9am and didn’t knock or anything. He didn’t apologise or even say hello. Other than this everything was brilliant.
