  • "Could not fault it absolutely perfect"

  • "We were on a two week holiday and an extra set of towels and bedding would of been useful we had to wash towels and they hadn’t dried by the next day luckily we had brought some of our own to use."

Some of the lighting on the site was not working the ones by the roadside near our lodge and opposite were not working at night so was very dark if you were to arrive back late and had forgotten to put your lodge outside lights on. These are just minor issues but equally important but we would definitely return again Thank you

The facilities where brilliant and I Thoroughly enjoying using them all. I don’t have a bad thing to say about the property

  • "A lovely exceptionally clean and well postioned lodge in the centre of Cornwall, within easy reach of all coastlines."

The lodge was well kitted out with a Spa bath with TV, Sauna and cinema room! We even had a Gym! A lovely stay! The only things I would mention are; Bring your TV Apps passwords etc with you as the cinema room is a large TV with Netflix and other Apps. The instructions for the Spa Bath and the Sauna could be more specific.

  • "The cushions are very thin and you probably want to bring your own."

The furniture outside wasn't great, would have liked to use as it was lovely and warm outside. Otherwise, the place is perfect! Great location and the facilities were clean and tidy. Jaccuzzi inside and saunna was lovely. The kitchen was tidy and clean and they leave soap, dishcloth, dishwasher tablets for you. Husband and I had a lovely little sunny retreat.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay here at Meadow retreat."

The lodge was much bigger than expected and we loved the facilities. The jacuzzi bath and cinema room was amazing and we found lots of things to do in the area. The only thing was the kitchen was missing a chopping board and some smaller bowls and the gym could do with some heavier dumbbells as there was only 3kg there and it was advertised as an I-gym but these are just little improvements that could be made. The site is still being worked on so there are builders but we stayed there all week and didn’t really hear them. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at 12 Meadow Retreat."

The lodge was beautifully presented and luxurious. We particularly enjoyed the sauna and the hot tub! The facilities provided everything we needed for self-catering. I would just say that the kitchen was missing a chopping board so we went out and purchased one for our selves. The location was perfect to explore the coast line and also enjoy the hilly moors for walks. There were comments about the windows and privacy however we didn't have a problem with this as we simply closed the curtains and blinds when required. The estate appears fairly new and we think that once the trees and gardens have settled in and grown, privacy will be much better. We highly recommend a stay and will definitely look at coming back in the future.

  • "On the online listing, if you could let potentially bookers know more in-depth things in the accommodation eg."

Iron and ironing board, hoover, if there is kitchen roll / loo roll / bin bags available (I know there were some in the little gift box and in the toilet). Personally we found the pillows on the bed a little too flat for our liking so perhaps an alternative fluffier pillow in the wardrobe? Other than that we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate coming back. It’s a wonderful location, accommodation and the retreat is exactly what we needed for our winter getaway.

there are just a couple or points: 1) the restaurant was not open for a takeaway during the opening hours stated. 2) there seemed to be an earwig issue in the property. 3) we arrived during a heat wave and a fan was not made available to us. wooden cabins are like ovens in the heat so therefore fans or air conditioning should be provided.

A great lodge but some points to improve - the bathroom light is automatic and stays on too long and even when not needed in the daytime - the gym flooring is very lumpy and a trip hazard The lodge is in a very peaceful setting, no shops or places to eat within walking distance - that’s ok but would be good to know in advance

  • "Number 12 was beautiful."

Every little thing was thought of and we were surprised it was much bigger than the pictures! We went in a rainy October week and it honestly didn't matter as we made use of the gym, jacuzzi and sauna. If you are looking for a bit of modern luxury to wind down and forget the world this is it! Only thing a little misleading is it advertises there being a hot tub. There is not one at this lodge but the jacuzzi inside is huge so it wasn't make or break for us. We will be returning next year. Thank you!
