  • “We had a wonderful week walking and on the wet days was able to stay in and enjoy the facilities of 19 Meadow Retreat.”

It was the best equipped kitchen we have had for holiday accommodation, including very sharp knives for cooking, ideal for us who still like to cook everything from scratch even when on holiday. We took our blue ray player for the cinema room, but forgot the remote. Turned out not to be a problem as both TVs connect to the internet for prime, netflix, iplayer etc., so we had plenty to watch and enjoy. We took our blue ray player for the cinema room, but forgot the remote. Turned out not to be a problem as both TVs connect to the internet for prime, netflix, iplayer etc., so we had plenty to watch and enjoy. We didn't have a remote control for the TV over the giant jaquzzi, so were unable to use that TV. Others have commented about the door needing a blind, we agree, but got around the problem by leaving cupboard doors open to block other from being able to see in, not that many people walk past, but just in case of a evening time or when not fully clothed. All in all fantastic and looking to see when we can return.
