  • "We absolutely loved our stay would definitely come again."

    We have never seen our dog so happy she loved every second. Very secluded area so nice for a quiet break away. Jacuzzi bath was divine and so was the hot tub. Only issue we had was with the washer/dryer wasn't sure if we were doing something wrong but never managed to dry our clothes as it came up with an error. You had everything you need for your stay it's was incredible!

  • "We had the BEST Christmas break at 4 Faraway Fields."

    It was the perfect relaxation spot to hideaway in. The property came with everything you need and we truly relaxed, the hot tub was spot on! The reception team are incredibly helpful and checked in on us regularly to make sure things were up to par. The hot tub team, were really friendly and efficient, they even worked Christmas Day! There are just a few little things that would make it even better, for us - but they wouldn’t stop us coming back. A coffee machine/cafeteria (for us coffee snobs). A bigger bed (it was comfy, we’re just used to a super king - my husband is very tall!). The sofa probably needs new cushions or replacing fairly soon, it could have been a bit more comfortable. Thank you for having us - we loved it!

    Was really comfortable and easy ro relax in after a day exploring Cornwall. The hot tub was great and had a great choice of appliances to make it a home from home for the week.

  • "There were a few cobwebs and spiders on ceiling in bedroom which did make me uncomfortable as I've a phobia of spiders."

    If the hoover had had an attachment I would have hoovered them. Everything else was absolutely perfect. Would definitely want to return. Cottage had everything as we like yo cook and the garden and hot tub were fantastic.

    ! me and my partner stayed here for his 28th birthday and we had the best time! the site is absolutely beautiful, can not fault it and the owners were so lovely.     It was warm and cosy and had everything that you needed. My only negative comment was that that the rain would come through the covered hot tub. But overall we enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to go home. I would book again!

  • "We had a wonderful stay."

    Our cabin was great. Very clean and modern with everything needed for our stay. The park is very nice and well maintained. Our cabin in particular provided perfect privacy and the sheltered hot tub was wonderful to use of an evening after long days exploring the countryside, even in the rain. Would most definitely be coming back again!

    Lovely accommodation. Very clean and modern and has everything you need. Good base to local sites. We mentioned on our last visit a towel hook would be useful in the toilet, we still think that would be helpful. Everything else fantastic

    WE DID THINK THE CABIN NUMBER SHOULD BE MOVED FROM THE BACK TO FRONT BY STEPS SO AS YOU CAN SEE YOU ARE AT THE RIGHT CABIN WHEN YOU ARRIVE. A PLASTIC JUG WOULD OF BEEN USEFUL AS WELL.OTHER THAN THOSE TWO POINTS WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME THERE. THE HOT TUB WAS A GREAT BONUS TO THE HOLIDAY.

  • "We just loved it here."

    Nicely secluded at the end of the road with no one over looking. Hot tub in the perfect place. Someone came to check the tub each day and helped us with a small problem that we had with a curtain. It was myself and my partners (had only been together a few weeks) first break away and we just thought it was the beast. We had our 4 legged friend with us as well and enjoyed some nice walks. Comfy bed Clean shower Gorgeous Jacuzzi bath Fully fitted kitchen Great TV Fabulous Hot Tub We went at the end of September so not to busy which suited us. We want to return for our 1st year anniversary next year.

    Great facilities, clean and comfortable. Lovely decking, nice and secluded and great hot tub. Would benefit from table and chairs on the rear decking outside of kitchen area but perfect other than that. Would certainly return.

  • "A really enjoyable stay with my wife and our cocker spaniel Milo."

    The property was well equipped and in our opinion was possibly the most private and secluded plot on the site which is great when there is a hot tub. Being able to go up on the roof terrace and enjoy the views was great. The property would benefit from a new table and chairs as they are looking dated / old and don’t lend them selves to be used for a period of time as they are small and uncomfortable. As per previous reviews we have read a table and chairs on the deck area out side the kitchen would have been useful. The only negative was that the deck area needed to be swept/hosed before we arrived to remove the debris from trees and that the gate to the main site was only in use on our last day from a security point of view would have been good to see it being used daily. Would definitely recommend this property, the site and the area of Dobwalls / Liskeard.

  • "We stayed for a week at No4 Faraway Fields."

    We found the property ideal for a quiet break tucked away in a corner very private and peaceful. The property had everything you need home from home and the hot tub was nice to relax in the evening. We visited many places in Devon and found the property ideal location to do this. The property is very open plan and very nice also WiFi is ok good enough for what we needed. The only thing for us was a lack of a decent pub/bar to walk to as the nearest one in dobwalls wasn’t to our liking but others might. Their is a shop near by Spar just at the roundabout and we found a better place was a 5 min drive to Trago Mills where you will find a few shops and a cafe. Bakery, Butchers, vape shop, Green Groceries and a big shop that sold most things worth stopping at. Plus also a little further past Trago Mills you will come across a very nice pub called the Half Way House. All in All very nice place to stay and visit well recommend.

For a day exploring venture to Bodmin Moor, where you can stroll around Colliford Lake or discover the superb man-made Carnglaze Caverns.

Alternatively, head to the coastal town of Looe, where you can soak up the sun at the beach or for those feeling active visit the Adrenalin Quarry.

You will also find the picturesque fishing village of Port Issac within easy reach, where you will be delighted with the winding streets which finds their way to breath-taking ocean views.

DOBWALLS

Liskeard 2.6 miles; Looe 8.4 miles.

The rural village of Dobwalls is surrounded by open fields and wooded countryside, and is close to the market town of Liskeard, the slopes of Bodmin Moor and the glorious north and south Cornish coastlines. This is a perfect base for exploring the many delights the region has to offer, with the picturesque fishing harbours of Looe, Fowey and Polperro within 15 miles to the south whilst Padstow and the surfing beach at Polzeath lie a comfortable drive away on the North Coast. Take a trip to Siblyback Lake and enjoy the wonderful sailing, fishing and watersports on offer, or travel a little further and take advantage of the superb walking on Bodmin Moor. The Eden project lies within 15 miles and Plymouth is just a 30 minute drive, or 25 minute train ride from nearby Liskeard station. With the Barbican harbour district, renowned aquarium, and good selection of shops, restaurants and theatres, this is a great holiday base.
