Situated in the 'forgotten corner' of Cornwall on the scenic coast road in the village of Downderry is the spacious holiday home Phoenix Rise.

With sea views and an enclosed garden where the sun can be enjoyed throughout the day there is plenty of room to relax here with loungers and a choice of furniture to enjoy outdoor living and al fresco dining to the full.

There is ample parking directly outside, a rarity in this peaceful village which with the garden give the bungalow a very private feel.

Suitable for either a family or couples either for long summer days on the beach or invigorating walks along the stunning South west coastal path throughout the year this really is a most homely retreat for all seasons.

There are three bedrooms here, the spacious master bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom with a walk in shower, a double and a twin bedroom.

The bathroom with a bath for a leisurey soak also has a shower, suitable for all the family.

The sitting room is most bright and airy and leads out to the conservatory, a delightful spot to enjoys meals at any time of day prepared in the well equipped kitchen.

When it comes to dining out, one of the most renowned restaurants in the area, The Blue Plate is literally a 5 minute walk away with a continental style cafe and delicatessan and house bakery adding to the attraction.

Stroll along the beach to Seaton and a choice of pubs and restaurants awaits where you can watch the sun go down whilst enjoying a meal or drink before the delightful walk back to Phoenix Rise, a perfectly situated and most comfortable holiday home.

Looe 6 miles; Liskeard 10 miles; Polperro 11 miles; Plymouth 18 miles.

Downderry is a small quiet coastal village situated in south east Cornwall.

Downderry has a sheltered beach, Post Office and shop, deli, and a cliff top pub and an excellent restaurant, serving quality local food.

At low tide it is possible to walk along the beach from Downderry to Seaton, where you will find a family friendly south facing beach and the nearby Seaton Valley Countryside Park and Nature reserve is home to wildlife, including otters and kingfishers and also offers great cycling and walking opportunities.

The picturesque working harbours at Looe and Polperro are within an easy driving distance away, and the wonderful stretches of the South West Coast Path in this part of Cornwall take you to rocky coves, dramatic headlands and tales of shipwrecks and smugglers.

Further afield is Plymouth, where you will find plenty to see and do, including a marine aquarium, a theatre, large shopping centres and the historic Barbican waterside area..
