    “September holiday.”

Had an amazing break here in the I-hut. Absolutely stunning surroundings, so quiet and peaceful. Own private hot tub over looking acres of fields, so you can relax and watch the wildlife with a couple of glasses of wine. If you want a quiet and relaxing holiday this is definitely the place to go, got home feeling refreshed. The host Linda is so welcoming and friendly, you couldn’t meet a nicer lady, very helpful and any problems are dealt with immediately. Would definitely return to this beautiful place. Lower Frankaborough Cottages

These traditional barn conversions are situated on a working Devon farm near the small village of Broadwoodwidger, near St Giles-on-the-Heath. With far-reaching countryside views towards Dartmoor and in a friendly courtyard setting, these cottages make an ideal rural bolt hole for small groups looking for a taste of life on a farm in a peaceful, unspoilt corner of Devon. The owners provide a warm welcome to guests and encourage visitors to interact with the animals which include sheep, cows and chickens. Children can feed the lambs, collect fresh hen eggs, watch the black and white ladies being milked or have fun in the play area on trampolines, swings and slide. Adults will love to relax on the patio overlooking the small lake or maybe treat themselves to the on-site spa, gym and sauna. There are green farm meadows to wander through, narrow Devon lanes to explore and the local village of St Giles-on-the-Heath has a friendly thatched pub serving local produce plus a village shop. Nearby the spectacular Roadford Reservoir, offers water and land sports for all the family including sailing, kayaking, biking, archery and fishing. Dartmoor is a few miles away, providing fun-filled activities such as pony riding, tor bagging, letterboxing and exploring miles of open space. The rugged coastline near Bude is only a short drive from these comfortable farm cottages, including many safe and stunning beaches, plus some fabulous walks along the South West Coast Path.
