  • "Lovely holiday cottage."

Well presented and well equipped. Good location. Our only issue was access to the shower as the bath has higher sides than usual and there is no grab rail. Fine for most people but for someone (me!) in their late sixties and just over 5ft 1ins it was tricky!!

  • "Eddystone Cottage is a beautiful and cosy cottage."

Comfortable furniture and warm colours. Fitted up with all the things you need. There is one spacious double bedroom and a very good smaller one with twin beds. The living room and dining area are well provided with. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathroom needs a walk-in-shower instead of a bath. Especially when you are a bit older. A better light could be useful too. Please, put a line on the keysafe where to put the numbers. Parking was an issue. You have to pay everywhere around the cottage. The cottage was very close to the town centre and the supermarkets which was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay very much. Wadebridge is ideally situated to explore the Cornwall coast. We did parts of the South West Coast Path and cycled the Camel Trail. The weather was fantastic we hardly needed our raincoats. Kind regards Joos and Rob Broeren The Netherlands

  • "Great location for exploring Cornwall."

First impression from the outside wasn’t to my liking, as the other cottages needed renovations. But, once inside the cottage met our expectations.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately one of the cottages next door was vacant for a couple of years. Thankfully, it is now occupied and being looked after again. We're glad you enjoyed your holiday at Eddystone Cottage, please do visit us again soon. Property Owner

  • "Had a lovely stay in this cottage lots to do locally and an easy drive to many places in cornwall."

The cottage was newly renovated and compact but ideal for our small family. If i was to say anything negative about the cottage it would be there is no parking but there are plenty of local car parks within a few minutes walk.

  • "Cottage ideally placed for exploring the local area, parking was no problem."

Issues with the single beds as we had to move from the master bedroom due to a roof leak, the mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. The couch in the sitting room dipped in the middle. Otherwise everything about the cottage is ideal for 2 people.

  • "The property was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented."

The parking was well explained and proved easy to deal with. The bedding was very luxurious and all furniture immaculate. It was very easy to feel at home. Overall a great location. On the down side the stone floors and almost entire lack of carpet meant that any noise carried through the whole house. The main (and at first most disconcerting) one of these was the boiler. It worked efficiently but made an incredible amount of noise. The other main draw back was that we could only find one decent saucepan, one frying pan and one stewpot. We did expect to find more given that the kitchen itself was small but reasonably well equipped and that self catering was our main reason for booking.

I'm sorry you were unable to find the kitchen equipment, we have in fact several brand new saucepans, frying pans and other equipment all located in the cupboards in the kitchen. The boiler was previously located in the bathroom, though no guests have previously mentioned any issues with noise, there is now a new eco-boiler which operates silently from an outbuilding. We have also added a new carpet to the living room. We hope to see you again soon at Eddystone Cottage. Property Owner

  • "Excellent holiday home!"

would heartily recommend to anyone, parking could be an issue as wadebridge is a very busy town and being disabled, was hard to park close enough to cottage ,but had words with no 1 and he let me park on his land !great chap ! the cottage was lovely !but as in all homes two issues, though not to serious to worry anyone about, was the front door key was very hard to extricate from lock on opening front door!does need looking into ! the other maybe a bit more serious was the lack of any grab rails for entering or exiting the bath, the bath is deep and defiantly needs support!not an expensive fix ,but to prevent accidents are needed! otherwise a good company to deal with and we will be booking again soon !well done !
