The cottage

Bonny Alva is a splendid detached house with spectacular panoramic sea views across the golf course and out to sea, where magnificent tall ships are often seen sailing in St Austell Bay.

It is situated in Porthpean, elevated above the sandy beach.

An absolutely fabulous house for all occasions.

From the garden, step up to the impressive porch, into the hall and through to the living room where French windows take you out on to the verandah.

For those wanting a quiet moment, there is a study-den with desk and comfy seating.

The spacious kitchen-dining room has the seating positioned to take advantage of those fabulous views.

Also, a utility room and rear porch for boots and coats and drying soggy dogs.

At ground level there are two bedrooms - a super king-size zip-linked room with en suite shower-room, and a king-size, together with a family bathroom.

Head upstairs to two more bedrooms - the master king-size with TV and French windows to a balcony and those great views, and en suite bathroom, and a family room with a double and single bed.

The lawned garden has mature shrubs, borders and hedges and trees sheltering the table and chairs and BBQ, and to one side of the house, a covered verandah with bistro table and chairs, screened with glass for enjoying ever-changing sea views.

A brilliant house for all to enjoy, within walking distance of the beach, golf course and Coast Path or for simply relaxing on the verandah or balcony and watching the seas and skies.
