"We have just had a very enjoyable week at Millers Lodge, we found the cottage very easily with the directions from the owners, parking was available opposite the cottage over the road, the key is in a key safe near the front door, the cottage is very well equipped with everything you could need for your stay, from the well equipped kitchen to the cosy and comfortable living spaces to the comfy bed upstairs, there is a train station at the bottom of the garden but the noise from it is hardly noticeable when you are inside the cottage, there is also a small stream running along the bottom of the garden which is very nice to listen to when you are sat out at the back of the house."
The cottage is ideally placed for exploring Cornwall with good road links to all major routes. Would just like to say thanks to the owners fro supplying a lovely cream tea for us on our arrival, and a thank you to Sykes for an easy and problem free booking process again.
All in all Millers Lodge is ideal for 2 people who just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life for a while but not be to far away from all the essential amenities we all need.
Ps WiFi is great too thanks.

"Another wonderful holiday at Miller's cottage!"
! Everything spotless and Sarah & Jez really helpful. We used the train every day, just a walk to the end of the garden. Sue & Calum
Thank you for being such great guests. You left the cottage so clean and tidy it did not look like you had been there for 3 weeks. The train is a definite plus for many of our guests.
We hope to see you again sometime in the near future.

"Nice place."
Rustic. It was a nice cottage with all the essentials we needed. We arrived to a lovely cream tea awaiting us in the kitchen. Parking across the road and easy access to the station. I was worried about the noise of the trains but this turned out to be quite a pleasant background sound. The river at the end of the garden was lovely when sitting there reading a book in the sunshine. Great stay and will hopefully book again.
Thank you for such great feedback. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your time at Millers Lodge. We would be so delighted to have you stay with us again.

"Thanks for our yummy cream tea and milk , a lovely welcoming."
We have an old Sat Nav which would not accept this one, thanks very much for your help when I rang.
Despite the rain , we enjoyed Millers Cottage and it’s beautiful surroundings.
Thank you for staying with us. We are very sorry that there was no milk when you arrived. We had someone else do the clean that weekend and although we had provided them with milk scones and cream I can only assume that they had forgotten to pick that up with the rest of the items. I can only hope it’s not still in their car as it won’t smell very nice by now.
We do hope to see you again sometime in the future.

"The Cottage is a bit remote however once you are there it is very nice, very clean and well equipped Everything that you need is supplied."
Unfortunately, during our stay the weather was not very good, it was wet and cold, it did take time to heat up the Cottage even with new electric radiators fitted.
Overall this was a lovely place to stay, the owner called round to make sure everything was ok.
You did have some awful weather.. I think waders would have been the item of clothing most worn that week.
We sincerely hope that you will join us again in the future when the weather is better.

"A beautiful cottage with a very cosy feel to it The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you can think of."
A beautiful garden with a lovely stream at the bottom (we didn’t make much use of the garden as it was February ). The location is very rural and you definitely need a car to get about . Or you could make use of the train line that is right at the bottom of the garden . The trains going past are not noisy . You can hardly hear it. The cream tea that was left for us was very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend this property and would definitely re visit . Maybe in the summer next time to make use of the lovely outdoor space
Thank you so mum for your feed back it means a great deal to us.

Will definitely be returning and would recommend.
Thank you letting us share your wonderful home.

"We loved our stay at Miller’s Lodge."
The property was extremely comfortable and well-equipped with everything you could think of. We visited in mid November yet the cottage was warm and cosy with thoughtful books and good tv as well as a very nice kitchen to cook in during the winter evenings. The location just a two minute walk from the branch line station was really handy for trips to Looe, Liskeard or Plymouth - you could even arrive by train if you wished! There’s a lovely little tinkling brook at the end of the garden too! The WiFi in the cottage was excellent (despite Sykes saying it wasn’t!). We would highly recommend!
Thank you so much for such lovely feedback. We are so pleased that the cottage provided you with a comfortable space to spend your time away.
We have recently had the WIFI put in so we need to update Sykes on that.. it only took us 18 months to get that done!!

We used the train to visit Looe and Liskeard every day, Looe gets very very busy and not having to look for parking space was a real bonus. (August) One little thing, a non slip mat in the shower would be good. Thanks for a great holiday and wonderful property.

"The property was stunning and a beautiful stay, however, the shower temperature was difficult to regulate."
It went from hot to cold every few seconds. This could go from boiling to freezing!
Alongside this the counter tops in the kitchen were extremely sticky meaning that everything got stuck to them!
However, these were the only downfalls of the property and overall it was an enjoyable stay. (Just not enjoyable shower)
Thank you for your feed back we will look at the issue with the shower today while on site. The worktops are wood and due to us having to disinfect them for covid regs this makes them sticky we are look to resolve this issue asap

Your directions were sadly lacking. Stating we should stay on the A38 with no mention of the A3254 which would take us to St.Keynes. It took us over 2 hours to find the cottage. The owner said he will write better directions himself.
