    Falmouth is beautiful. The owner was very approachable and helpful in answering our queries. However access was a big issue for us.. At time of booking there was no mention of having to park in a small garage or on the road. There are slopes everywhere around the apartment blocks’ grounds, the road, and the town is very hilly. Nigh impossible for wheelchair or mobility scooter users. We cannot walk well or far and I use walking aids. I had flagged this up at time of booking and was informed accessibility to the property was okay. We were only notified the night before our stay (by the owner, not Sykes) of the small garage and no parking elsewhere within the apartment blocks’ grounds. The garage proved too problematic to park our car in (C3 Picasso) as I had great difficulty getting out after parking. Even a smaller car (eg Corsa) would be tricky to park in the garage. Wing mirrors need to be tucked in and there are low metal bars at each side of the entrance which can catch and scrape the side of the car. Users of the garage need to be pre-warned of these issues.

    The apartment was very comfortable, well equipped and very convenient to walk or drive to both town and beaches. The owner was friendly and helpful. The garage is small - we have a Honda Jazz and it only just fitted with the wing mirrors folded in.

  • "The flat was spaceous, clean and well located."

    The block was quiet and the grounds well maintained. I felt the en-suite shower room needs an update as it is showing its age. Had some fun until I realised the TV controller did not work. One minor point was that every rental property I have arrived at for 30 odd years, had a welcoming tea bag and some milk..... this had nothing ( and it cannot be just Covid as I have been in 2 others which did have it)- so go to the shop first!

    Very well equipped. A lovely spacious flat with Everything you need for a happy holiday and a lovely welcome card from the owner. Only negative is our car was too big for the garage and not enough space to park outside of it. Not a huge problem as always managed to find a parking space on the road. Be more than happy to book again.

  • "The location was great, the size of the apartment and the facilities it included Disliked · Unfortunately there was scaffolding on the front which blocked the views of the sea."

    Work was being carried our whilst we were there meaning we had to avoid wet paint as you came into and out of the apartment. You had the noise of the cherry picker moving about to enable the work people to paint. We also woke each day not knowing if we were to find anyone taking down the scaffolding. To be notified of this only a couple of days before we were to go arrive was really not good enough with no option to cancel or rearrange.

    Apologies for the scaffolding due to work being delayed, which outside my control. I'm glad I have since been able to resolve this to your satisfaction and I'm pleased that you like the apartment and facilities and that you enjoyed the location. Property Owner

    Very clean, good facilities. Initial key collection was an issue as previous occupant ignored instructions given by owner, and failed to inform their location. We'll be more than happy to return.

    The flat was exceptional in its facilities - 2 bathrooms, dishwasher and washing machine which came in handy after a long muddy coastal walk. All with sea view and comfortable furnishings with great TV, wi-fi and video/audio facilities. Highly recommended.

Nestled in the heart of Falmouth is this contemporary second floor apartment, boasting a wonderful position for exploring the South coast of Cornwall.

It is the perfect abode for a family of four, couple or group of friends seeing a seaside break with plenty of attractions to fill your time.

You can admire the charming views of the palm trees rustling in a gentle, seaside breeze and look out towards the glistening waters of this harbour town.

From the living space are patio doors out onto the balcony, which has a glass balustrade for secure measure and patio furniture.

You have two neutrally designed bedrooms, each with built in wardrobes, the king-size boasting an en-suite shower room, while the family bathroom accommodates the whole group.

Summer days will beckon you onto the balcony, where you can sip a refreshing gin and tonic or tipple of your fancy, drinking in the sea-salt air and coastal atmosphere.

Stroll to Gyllyngvase Beach and bask in the sun or grab a bit to eat in the beach café of the same name, you can also explore Pendennis Castle just north of here or learn about the seafaring history of the area in the National Maritime Museum.

There are numerous other beaches in the area to keep you occupied, as well as gardens, historic sites, the scenic South West Coast Path and the fantastic Roseland Heritage Coast.

There is plenty to see and do from this charming base in central Falmouth.
