  • "We enjoyed our stay at Deja Blue."

It was clean and comfortable. We liked the biscuits and tea/coffee supplies but missed having handwash and couldn't find a handle for the grill. The owls hooting at night were a big bonus!

Comfy bed and seats in the lounge and ‘snug’. Maybe fit a handrail to assist getting in and out of the bath, make it a bit easier for us ‘wrinklies’

  • "What a delightful place."

Parking could not have been easier, park just outside. The place was clean and tidy, as was all utensils and crockery items. A couple of points need mentioning, the back gardewn is not fully enclosed. As we found out when our dog decided to jump the seat outside, but she didnt go far. Also entry to splash pool, and entry to tennis courts, no codes were given. Luckily the gentleman at the office kindly gave the splash pool entry code, Didnt use tennis courts but a code would have been handy for the gate.

  • "We very much enjoyed our stay at Deja Blue - the property and the site were perfect for our young family."

I liked the private patio that this property offered in addition to the communal grass areas where children could play. My hesitation for cleanliness was the amount of dog hair we kept coming across all week as the property if pet friendly. The property was clean to standard when we arrived but as soon as you start using a place, the dog hairs get dislodged. There was so much I had to sweep at least 3 times and another time hoover - I didn't expect to be doing that on holiday. As a pet free family I would reconsider booking a pet friendly property in future. The building itself though was just what we needed and very well equipped. The only other downside was the hot water situation. It seemed to be very limited. It couldn't cope with 2 showers of a morning, and sometimes there was no hot water for washing dishes. We really had to forward plan with the hot water boost which my husband managed to work out. That said there was no hot water one evening and had to bath out baby over the sink having used a kettle to heat the water - not ideal. If the property was pet free and the water system fixed then it would be the perfect holiday! We had a very enjoyable stay there on all other fronts.

Thank you for completing your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and also enjoyed the site and its facilities. We have addressed with our housekeeper the issues regarding pet hairs in the property. If we had been made aware during your stay we would have done our very best to rectify things at the time of your stay. The hot water issue has now been resolved. We do hope that maybe in the future you might consider another stay at our property. Property Owner

  • "We had a really lovely stay here and the location was great for what we needed."

The only thing I would say is the cleaning could have been better as there was dog hairs all over. Also the fact you have to put the boost on for hot water could be documented somewhere. Overall though a great stay.

Thank you for your feedback. We have discussed the cleanliness issues with our housekeeper. Had we been made aware of the issues during your stay, we would have arranged for the housekeeper to come and deal with the pet hairs. The situation with the hot water has now been resolved. We are glad that you had a lovely stay and we look forward to you coming back to stay at a future date. Property Owner

  • "The property was very clean and well stocked."

Nice touch to leave plenty of coffee, tea bags and biscuits. The property is well situated for beaches and only a short drive into Falmouth. Negatives were the boiler did not heat water overnight and needed boosting whenever hot water required. This was reported and a new timer unit fitted but still didn't work. Also the patio area and furniture could have been cleaned and tidied up. All in all good value for the money and would definitely stay again.

Thank you for taking the time to complete your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed the property and its location. We are sorry that you had an issue with the hot water, this has now been resolved. We would love to welcome you back and hope to see you in the not too distant future. Property Owner

  • "The house is nice and well equipped however there are areas that need attention."

The house could really do with a washing machine, while there is a laundrette on site the prices are horrific so it meant that sea activities we had planned we didn't do as we could not then wash our clothes and towels. The cupboard to the left of the sink would be better as a washing machine. The cleanliness was good however when our daughter dropped some toys in between the sofa cushions we found old peanuts and lots of dirt and dog hair. Some of the rugs are quite stained in the lounge, but overall the room is very nice. The left window in the snug the seal at the top of the opening window has perished so there is a gap you can see through which means the room gets very cold and it then makes the rest of downstairs very cold. We kept the door shut the whole time to mitigate this. Upstairs is nicely done however the mattresses in the beds need replacing as you can see every spring and the main bedroom one has 4 mattress toppers on to make it comfortable! The bunk beds are great and our daughter loved them and making them into a den. However the wood is very squeaky so every time she moved she got woken up, so she ended up sleeping with us all week. I would also recommend having mattress and pillow protectors on as some had dubious stains which wasn't great to see. Also the duvet cover on the main bed was too small so it rolled up inside at the edges and then became a ball in a cover overnight. I would like to mention that we had to remake the beds as whoever had made them just shoved the bottom sheets down the edges and didn't tuck it under etc. Not something most would notice but I come from a hotel background. Also hanging storage somewhere would be good. Finally the curtains poles are barely hanging in and the main bedroom one came out the wall on the first night when we closed the curtains! The left one in the lounge the end stops fell off on a regular basis. Re the hot water, the house would be better on a combi boiler or a bigger water tank as its 144L and it should be 60L per person so for 4 people you need a min of a 240 tank. Overall the house was fine for the price we paid, if we had paid £1000+ over the summer etc we would have been very disappointed.

Have stayed in Pendre Loweth several times but not in recent years. Still a beautiful place to visit and so peaceful. Never taken a dog away before but Cornwall is so dog friendly I had no worries. Cottage was perfect for Benni but 5e garden is not secure and took some time and placing of garden chairs to stop him escaping. Will hopefully be back.

Very cold the first day on arrival, but once we had the heating going was plenty warm enough. The downstairs toilet was similar to entering a sauna, heating may need a look at. We didn't realise that one had to switch on the hot water to run the shower.

Hot water needs to be on longer if 4 people staying. Works started to no15 next door at the end of our week which were noisy during the day. Our dog was very unsure of the robotic lawnmowers that operate through the grounds!

Thank you for your feedback. I have discussed your feedback with the owner who informed me that the French doors were fixed during your stay. • "The cottage is exceptional in comfort and very clean."

The surround gardens are beautiful & well maintained, a pleasure to walk around. The only one negative is the patio is not fully enclosed. Part of it is partitioned off by some plant pots that a dog could easily jump over and get into next doors garden or worst still into the car park. For this reason we were unable to use it. Also the pictures are misleading. It looks like there is some lawn in the back garden but it is just patio.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, whilst the garden is enclosed, we cannot guarantee that it is dog-proof. We have however amended the website description to better indicate that the lawn is communal and the patio is private. We are glad to hear your positive comments. Property Owner

  • "Loved the house and location, very peaceful."

The patio area was not enclosed chairs had been placed on their sides to fill a fence panel gap meaning it was not secure for our dogs which it was stated as enclosed. We did find the beds to firm for us and not the best nights sleep. The house it's self was lovely and had everything you could need, clean and modern.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback regarding your recent stay. There is a gap in the hedging, so the owner is going to put a moveable fence there to be used when necessary. We can never guarantee that a dog can't get out but this issue will be addressed. There has never been a comment regarding the beds, this can be general preference but we will keep an eye on feedback and address if necessary. We are very glad that you thought the house was lovely and had everything you needed. Property Owner

Fantastic facilities and aesthetic decor made up for the poor weather that we had for our week in Cornwall. All things considered, a fantastic base to enable both myself and my wife to explore the surrounding area and all that Cornwall has to offer, only to come back and chill in the evenings with a good book and a glass of wine. We would definitely love to come back again, and only wished that we had booked a second week to stay. My wife would love to move in and stay if she could.
