The property

This spacious house with its own indoor heated swimming pool and outdoor hot tub is situated in the centre of the thriving historic harbour town of Falmouth.

Dating from 1605, Gylly House is situated just 200 yards from Gyllynvase Beach, the finest in the area, and is a wonderful home for a family celebration by the sea.

The house is spread over three floors and is ideal for large families or groups of friends, with thirteen bedrooms offering plenty of flexibility with the sleeping arrangements alongside nine bathrooms.

The kitchen will delight any budding chefs in the party as it is spread around a large island in the centre with the added bonus of an AGA as well as a regular cooker.

The dining room is large enough to seat all guests and provides the perfect setting for any special event.

The property benefits from two separate sitting rooms, one of which boasts a piano, whilst the other is a great space for the children to hide away as the adults relax with a quiet drink.

Kids of all ages will love the games room which features a pool table and table tennis, however the main attraction is bound the be the 10 metre long heated indoor swimming pool complete with changing rooms, which is bound to get a lot of use.

The private rear garden is designed for relaxation with a patio with furniture and a barbecue, plus a large outdoor hot tub is guaranteed to soothe away your aches and pains after a day spent building sandcastles on the beach.

Falmouth is only a four minute walk to the town centre with a choice of restaurants, cafes and pubs with something to suit everyone.

Gyllynvase Beach features an award-winning cafe and is a great spot for breakfast, snacks or meals throughout the day or evening.

The Blue Flag beach, with its wide expanse of golden sands and overlooked by Pendennis Castle is one of the most popular in Cornwall and as it is such a short walk from Gylly House, it will prove to be a popular destination for all.
