  • "We loved our stay at Seabien."

The owners were very welcoming and helpful and offered great suggestions on local shops, activities or walks. The cottage is lovely, comfortable and well appointed, special mention for the kitchen which is very well equipped for a rental, down to a salad spinner! We enjoyed the patio with the beautiful view of the bay, perfect for pre-dinner drinks or morning coffee. We did have a challenge with the steep driveway and elected to park our rental car on the street. Falmouth is charming and an easy place from which to explore Cornwall. We would gladly return to Seabien for another stay.

  • "Great position / location, well presented with good harbour views from the bay window and patio."

Steep (rather than sloping) driveway wasn't an issue for us. Friendly owners were very helpful. Would recommend to friends and family.

  • "The property, location and the owner provided everything and more than we expected."

The split level bungalow was bright and tastefully furnished. The location was close to all amenities and the owner provided small but greatly appreciated touches upon arrival. I agree with many comments about the steepness of the parking arrangement but this should not detract from the overall benefits of Seabien.

  • "We had a lovely time here, great location and near the harbour, the property was in a built up area of Falmouth, but was so private (enclosed)."

We loved the patio area, and the sitting room, 2 bathrooms which is ideal for a family of 4, the bedrooms are a nice size and furniture lovely in the main bedroom but missing a dressing table, we did not like the drive to the property it was very steep!

Excellent accommodation.Clean, warm and well equipped, beautiful views over estuary and close to all amenities.Parking challenging at first sight but actually not a problem. With out doubt the best place we have stayed in over fifty years of self catering.

  • "I think the steep parking situation needs to be highlighted for those with mobility issues but we found it absolutely fine and workable."

The cottage itself was beautiful, very clean, warm and extremely well equipped. The owners were delightful and very helpful. Location was excellent as a base for exploring all of Cornwall and close to restaurants and shops. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’ll be back i’m sure.

  • "The property was clean ,tastefully decorated and well appointed ."

The major problem was the parking . It stated parking for two vehicles which certainly wasn't true. It was possible to park one small car but not a bigger car that we had . Much as we liked the property we wouldn't book it again for this reason .

  • "Property well placed for central Falmouth, close to water, shops, pubs and restaurants."

One first rate pub practically at the end of the road!!! First class.

  • "Lovely property although could do with a little updating in the main bathroom."

The showers also didn't drain very well which led to us flooding the ensuite on one occasion. Parking is a pain and it would be helpful if the driveway was put to better use as I assume due to the steep slope it is never used fully. All of this is fairly minor and didn't compromise our holiday although would mean we wouldn't book here again.
