The property

Situated just a few minutes’ walk from the white sand of Gyllyngvase Beach, Tresawle is an end of terrace cottage within the grounds of the Falmouth Hotel.

An immaculate bolthole, perfect for couples or a special celebration, with fabulous front line sea views and within walking distance of Falmouth's cafes, shops and restaurants.

The reverse level accommodation comprises a bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower room on the ground floor whilst on the first floor is an open plan living room with kitchen and dining areas.

There is a balcony off this room with incredible views across Falmouth Bay - a great spot for breakfast in the sunshine or evening G & T's.

Browse the art galleries and boutique shops and embrace the slow life with coffee or a lazy lunch overlooking the water.

There are some great seafood restaurants to choose from including Rick Steins fish and chips in events square and the acclaimed Wheel House.

You have a superb choice of beautiful beaches in Falmouth including Gyllyngvase and its neighbour Swanpool both providing a great option for swimming and sunbathing.

A mile further west is a larger stretch of sand and surf at sheltered Maenporth beach which can be reached by car or by foot along the coastal path.

Water sports fans can sign up for canoeing, sailing, diving or rowing at Falmouth Watersports Centre or if a day at the spa is more your cup of tea then head into the hotel to make use of the facilities (charges apply) or pop down the road to the upmarket St Michaels Hotel and Spa.

Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and SSSI teeming with a variety of wildlife.
