    This house has obviously just come onto the Holiday rental market. It is a nice house but we would comment as follows: ...

    This house has obviously just come onto the Holiday rental market. It is a nice house but we would comment as follows: The house has some major wrinkles that need sorting 1. Front door - this locks as it shuts - and very easy to lock yourself out - no 'putting it on the latch' mechanism 2. The garden was a mess - builders planks propped against the garden wall, lots of weeds - just looked scruffy - especially to the west of the garage. 3. Apart from the beds (which were gorgeous), all the fittings looked and felt like they were from Ikea. At this price the fittings should be a much better quality 4. House layout was weird. Big sitting room miles from the kitchen with no TV. Then the dining room, miles from the Kitchen. A downstairs bedroom, with no ensuite and the shower at the other end of the house. The kitchen was probably the most unfortunate room - its very small. Its a pain to cook when anyone wants anything from the fridge - which is far too small for 10 people. The induction hob has one of those magnetic removable turn a twist controls which stuck itself to a roasting pan and ended up in the oven. I think a stock of these knobs should be kept by the letting manager. The kitchen was not well equipped. No potato peeler, electric whisk, knife sharpner, blender, no large cheese grater, no weighing scales, no dishclothes....etc etc 5. The trash bins had not been emptied and there was a sea of rubbish on our arrival. The last guests had apparently not put the bins out......but then how would they know when............. 6. There is no welcome/explanation book. The house electronics/heating/ kitchen fans/ towel rails/ etc etc are complicated and on holiday, you really dont want to have to sit down and understand the plethora of manuals. A simple description in the welcome pack would be good. The lack of a house welcome book/manual really was a pain. When you arrive after a long 12 hour car journey, you just want to chill and relax, not take hours understanding all the appliances/house. 7. I could go on.......but I feel I have spent long enough sorting this house when were there, without doing after I return home

Also on the ground floor is a useful shower room with utility area and a small study area.

A ground floor twin bedroom is ideal for children with a large Smart TV, Xbox and assortment of games.

On the first floor you’ll find five further bedrooms, all are decorated beautifully and offer varying arrangements for maximum flexibility.

Two of the bedrooms benefit from their own superb en-suite facilities, with a family bathroom and two further cloakrooms completing the interior of this first class coastal retreat.
