The mature garden at the front of the cottage is private and perfect for breakfast alfresco or simply relaxing with a good book.
A short stroll with fabulous views along the way, will take you Loe beach where there is a watersports centre so you can hire Kayaks or paddleboards to enjoy the water, you can paddle round to the infamous 13th century Pandora Inn which sits on the edge of the water.
The King Harry ferry is close by, take a trip over to St Mawes and some smaller villages along this part of coast.
The Carrick Roads also have a superb network of ferries linking Truro, Falmouth, St Mawes and some smaller villages so leave the car behind and travel by boat.

With its eclectic range of art galleries, bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre, museum and outstanding cathedral this small city is a superb year round destination. Steeped in history and intriguing architecture there is always plenty to do and see. Just meandering through the Georgian cobbled streets is a pleasure in itself. With many peaceful parks all within a short stroll from the centre it is a most relaxing city to visit. A wonderful day trip can be had from Truro to Falmouth along the stunning Fal estuary with many options to disembark and pick up the boat later along the scenic river trip.
