    “In one word - Fantastic”

We have only been here for one day and all we can say is WOW! Fantastic property, very clean and well equipped. We are looking to move to the area in about 18 months and if this property came on the market we would snap it up. Added extra was seeing wildlife in the garden with a squirrel popping in to rummage around the garden, We cannot praise it highly enough and will hopefully return next year.

The property

Resting on the outskirts of the delightful seaside town of Bude, on the coast of Cornwall, is this lovely detached bungalow.

Fully refurbished and set all on the ground floor, hosting a charming array of furnishings, this bungalow is a magnificent choice for families wanting to explore this coastal town and beyond.

The light and airy sitting room is where you can kick back after a day on the beach and enjoy a film on Netflix or catch up on your favourite shows.

Go through into the kitchen and you are greeted by a modern selection of appliances to assist in the preparation of your meals, that is when you are not indulging in the fabulous choice of eateries in Bude.

There are three well-presented bedrooms, a king-size and two singles, served by a smart bathroom with bath and shower over.

To the outside is a secluded rear garden, which catches the sun all day long, where you and your loved ones can enjoy lunch on the picnic bench with the chance of spotting a range of wildlife in the surrounding fields and trees, including squirrels, wrens, gold finches, blue tits, woodpeckers and pheasants.

The garden also hosts a small pond, covered with netting; small children will need to be supervised here.

If you can pull yourself away from this relaxing base, venture into the centre of Bude, where you can find a wonderful choice of amenities to suit a group of all ages and tastes, as well as large golf course and the glorious Crooklets Beach is just 1 mile from the property.

Bude Canal, with its own nature reserve and cycle paths, is within easy reach and offers plenty of day out opportunities, as is Widemouth Bay, one of the best surfing beaches in Cornwall.

Follow the coast in other directions and there’s the pretty cove at Crackington Haven, Boascastle, King Arthur’s Castle at Tintagel and yet more fantastic beaches at Polzeath.

With the whole of the stunning North Cornwall coastline to explore and many tourist attractions nearby, you will have plenty to fill your holiday to-do list, making this bungalow a wonderful base for a Cornish getaway.

About the location

BUDE

Tintagel 17 miles.

Bude is a fabulous coastal town that once visited you will want to come back to time and time again. Bude has something for everyone, great beaches for relaxing, and building sandcastles on, rockpools for investigating at low tide and cafes to watch it all from. The rolling waves are great for surfing all year round, and the footpaths by the restored canal or on the North Cornwall coastal path offer you a superb opportunity to explore and appreciate the outstanding countryside. Bude also has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and Heritage Centre at Bude Castle. It also has a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafes, pubs, restaurants and excellent Information Centre. Within a short drive are the remains of a huge iron age hill fort at Warbstow Bury, from where panoramic views can be seen. For days out, take the coast road north to see the lonely lighthouse above the sea at Hartland Point or walk or ride a donkey down the steep and cobbled village street (no cars allowed) of beautiful Clovelly to the harbour and the pub far below. Follow the coast in the other direction and there's the little cove of Crackington Haven, Boscastle, King Arthur's castle at Tintagel, Doc Martin's Port Wenn at Port Isaac and yet more great surfing beaches at Polzeath.
