  • "Lovely little bungalow,beautifully presented,very clean,very comfortable and a good location."

Very peaceful and quiet. Non pet friendly which was very appealing as no chance of doggy smells, and why we booked it. Slight damp smell in house even though no obvious signs, and not a fan of tight parking. These are constructive comments and we would be very happy to stay again.

  • "Lovely bungalow."

Has everything you need and is very homely. Great position in Bude and we really enjoyed the walk to town. Only one small niggle is although the settees look beautiful you tend to end up sliding to the middle! However, would I return? Absolutely!

  • "Amazing property to stay in with everything you'd need inside - a home away from home."

Very impressed by the cleanliness and the beachy decor made us feel very comfortable. The kitchen in particular was very well equipped in comparison to other holiday stays I have had. It is within convenient walking distance to town and to the beach.

It had everything you needed, they have thought of everything.

  • "Lovely property in a safe residential location and convenient to visit other parts of Cornwall/Devon too."

There was no bin in the bathroom which I feel is important and shorter guests and/or those with mobility difficulties should be aware that the bath with an overbath shower is deeper than average and could be tricky to access. There was a folding step in the kitchen which I was able to utilise to enable me to do this (I am 5ft 4ins) but still felt a little unsafe getting in/out. A rail would facilitate this. Everything was perfectly clean and there were plenty of coathangers and spare pillows if required. Also there were teabags, milk, washing up liquid, cloths & dishwasher tablets provided which was useful. We had a great stay at Seasalt and would definitely recommend it.

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay at Sea Salt."

It is a lovely, well presented property in a quiet but convenient location, with a lovely garden backing on to a small wood & field, with no overlooking from neighbours. The property had everything we needed & the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in! We would definitely like to stay here again.

  • "We enjoyed our stay at Sea Salt and would recommend it."

It is well presented and comfortable. It would be useful to have a bin in the bathroom or main bedroom also a mirror over chest. Also think it a good idea to put a pvc wipeable cloth on dining table.

  • "Lovely bungalow, beautifully decorated and kitted out with everything we needed and more with lots of lovely little touches."

Only real surprise is that the front bedroom only had one single bed, there would be plenty of room for a double and that would probably have commanded a higher rental! Really appreciated the small but well appointed garden for a peaceful drink and read after a long walk along the coast path. Perhaps one other sun lounger might have been nice as my daughter monopolised the only one provided. Our first time staying in that part of Bude and any concerns we had about getting around and access to the beach or town centre were quickly dispelled as there are multiple cut throughs easily found including a pleasant walk to Poughill where the Preston Gate pub serves great food and beer (booking essential) and Stratton which we would normally just drive through and is charming. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again but see there are no dates listed for next year.

  • "A great little bungalow in a quiet area but unfortunately, quite a way away from the local amenities."

It had quite a number of good points, being mainly well equipped in the kitchen, cleanliness was great and it was comfortable. The negative points though were, the lack of privacy in the small bedroom, no blind and could be seen inside by anyone going to the front door. There was no sanitary bin for the daughters and we had to buy one. There are two key safes, one by the front door and one for the side gate that we didn't have a code for and we felt that the owner and/or cleaner could turn up whilst we were out. We found the outer cover for the keysafe by the side gate open a couple of times We felt the property would have benefitted with a small tumble drier in the garage, especially considering the poor weather we had. To say it is listed as adult only, why is there no double bed nor television in the front bedroom as it is large enough? However, these few points aside, we enjoyed our stay at Sea Salt.

  • "This is a great property in Bude."

On a quiet cul-de-sac, it really is a twenty minute walk to the beach. The property is in fantastic condition, with a nice little garden - complete with squirrel and cows in the field behind the property. We really enjoyed our stay. The off road parking is really only for a small to medium sized car, but it doesn't matter as there is basically unlimited on-street parking.

Go through into the kitchen and you are greeted by a modern selection of appliances to assist in the preparation of your meals, that is when you are not indulging in the fabulous choice of eateries in Bude.

There are three well-presented bedrooms, a king-size and two singles, served by a smart bathroom with bath and shower over.

About the location

BUDE

Tintagel 17 miles.

Bude is a fabulous coastal town that once visited you will want to come back to time and time again. Bude has something for everyone, great beaches for relaxing, and building sandcastles on, rockpools for investigating at low tide and cafes to watch it all from. The rolling waves are great for surfing all year round, and the footpaths by the restored canal or on the North Cornwall coastal path offer you a superb opportunity to explore and appreciate the outstanding countryside. Bude also has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and Heritage Centre at Bude Castle. It also has a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafes, pubs, restaurants and excellent Information Centre. Within a short drive are the remains of a huge iron age hill fort at Warbstow Bury, from where panoramic views can be seen. For days out, take the coast road north to see the lonely lighthouse above the sea at Hartland Point or walk or ride a donkey down the steep and cobbled village street (no cars allowed) of beautiful Clovelly to the harbour and the pub far below. Follow the coast in the other direction and there's the little cove of Crackington Haven, Boscastle, King Arthur's castle at Tintagel, Doc Martin's Port Wenn at Port Isaac and yet more great surfing beaches at Polzeath.
