St Anthony is on the opposite bank of the creek with its fabulous sheltered beach with sailing boats, motorboats, kayaks and dinghies all available to hire.
Fishing coves galore can be found on the Lizard Peninsula or if you are looking for larger stretches of sand, Kennack, Poldhu and the National Trust Cove of Kynance are all within easy driving distance.
Falmouth is a great place to visit where you can browse the art galleries and stop for lunch at one of the harbour restaurants.
