  • "More information about the property ,things to do in newquay, etc, it was only on the second day we found leaflets regarding newquay hidden in a drawer."

More information on appliances in the property and what the leaving process was ,fortunately we have stayed with sykes for a great number of years so had a idea what was expected. Not much seating for a property that is meant for 6 adults (2 sofas would be a idea?) overall it was okay, reasonably clean and tidy. more information about the apartment i think would be the key.

This is a message to our valued guest who left feedback regarding the sitting arrangements in our apartment. We are pleased to let you know that we have upgraded the sofa with a wonderful brand new large couch. Please take a look at the most recent photos of the apartment. Thank you very much for providing your feedback. We read it and react! Best wishes and we hope to welcome you again in the future. The owners. Property Owner

  • "Fantastic location, amazing views over the golf course and Fistral, great facilities with a well equipped appartment."

The very useful board/wetsuit shower and storeage cage in the garage made the return after a day in the sea so much easier. Also the washing machine and airer provided were a great help. Although the the appartment had been cleaned, it hadn't been done very well and I needed to re do some areas. It would have been nice to have had a dining table and chairs to eat on, as a family of 4 it wasn't too bad with the breakfast bar and 4 bar stool/chairs and we were very lucky with the weather so could sit and eat outside at the nice table on the balcony. The sofa could do with replacing as a bit old and uncomfortable, also some oven gloves would be helpful and a TV in the 3rd and smallest bedroom. A little bit of maintenance needed in the showers due to the sealant having gone on the doors which caused them to leak. Generally a lovely, comfortable appartment and we would definitely go back, thank you.

  • "This apartment is in a fabulous location, walking distance to the beach, bars and shops."

Considering it's so close to these you don't hear any noise. When arriving the wooden floors were not as clean as we would expect. There was hair/ dust under the furniture as if it hadn't been cleaned properly. There was a mop and hoover, so this was easily sorted. The apartment also has a ring camera which is situated in the hall way focusing on the door but could also see movement of us going into the main bathroom. We did feel this was an invasion of our privacy and felt like we were being watched, not that we had anything to hide. We would stay here again regardless of what's outlined above.

  • "Beautifully presented, well equipped and great location."

BUT I'm not sure how you can advertise this as for 6 people when, there are not enough lounge or dining chairs for 6. The sofa in the lounge area only seats 3, with another 2 bedroom-style chairs, which aren't suitable for lounging. There are only 4 stools at the breakfast bar. So unless the weather is good enough to eat out on the balcony, not all guests can eat together. This completely lets down what is otherwise a lovely apartment.

  • "Well equipped and roomy with super comfy beds."

Could do with better chairs on the balcony for comfort, maybe another small settee aswell in the lounge area as the property accommodates 6, even with 5 of us.

  • "Fantastic apartment."

Amazing views. Loved the balcony even in October. Really well equipped. The only surprising omission was it was advertised for 6 people but no inside dining table. Four stools around breakfast bar. There were only 3 of us so it was fine but may have been tricky if you had 6 occupants and wouldn’t want to risk eating supper on a tray from the beautiful pale linen sofa!!! Will definitely return - the views and feel of the apartment are lovely.

  • "Lovely positioned apartment with great view of Fistral beach."

The balcony is good size for sixth berth . Very clean and very comfortable beds. The kitchen had sufficient equipment to prepare food if you want to stay in. Our only feedback would be because the open plan living is quite restrictive in size there was not enough relaxed seating for four adults and as we liked to dine in the breakfast bar was not so comfy for evening meal. We felt there was enough room another sofa instead of two small bedroom style arm chairs. However this may be personal to our group of four ladies and not young surfers who go out to eat .

  • "Lovely apartment spoilt by poor quality and choice of furnishings."

Lack of comfortable seating. The only sofa is worn and dirty looking. Fantastic balcony but full of formal dining furniture and there is no lounging furniture provided. There were no cloths at all to wipe surfaces or dishes. Also a welcome pint of milk would have been appreciated after a long journey to get there.

  • "After years of visiting Newquay, we’d past this property each time thinking that maybe one day we would get to stay at a property like this one."

We definitely were not disappointed, this accommodation was fantastic, modern decor and has amazing views of the sea and the golf course from the large windows, and also the balcony. The kitchen was well equipped and laid out well to rustle up the finest of holiday feasts. The property comfortably sleeps 6, 2 doubles and a twin room. The doubles both equipped with nice en-suites. This property is situated in easy reach of the amazing Fistral beach and also only a short stroll into town. I would definitely recommend this property and can’t wait to stay again. Thank you for making it a great holiday!

  • "Apartment and view were amazing."

The only thing that let the property down was the cleaning, just little things hadn’t been cleaned for a while such as the living room door to go in to the balcony was filthy inside with finger marks and stickyness, there were also finger marks all on the big mirror in the living room. Bathrooms weren’t too bad, the whole apartment needed a good dusting, skirting boards were filthy and window sills all through the plastic plant in the living room was thick in dust. Seen as we have to check out and 10 and can’t check in till 5 you would think the property would be spotless. A few things in the apartment could be better such as the seating area in the living room only really room for 5 people and the apartment sleeps 6 and the bed in the big bedroom could do with changing as it is a very loud bed and wakes the other person up every time someone moves. A few things let us down for the stay but the cream tea was a nice added extra but milk provided was out of date the day before we arrived. Hope this feedback can help

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We have changed the cleaning company for this property. Best regards. Property Owner

  • "Apartment was fabulous, comfortable and clean."

In a great location with fantastic views. Only downside was the underground parking space, not that big, felt it was only suitable for a small to medium size car. Glad it wasn’t peak season as I would of thought most parking spaces would be occupied, making it extremely difficult to park in allocated parking spot.

Underground parking a little tight though if you have a big car and maybe would of benefitted a small chest of drawers in the bedrooms but there was plenty of wardrobe space, apart from these minor things you couldnt fault it . Excellent apartment and would come back.

Totally magnificent views from the apartment. So well located in what is to my mind the best part of Newquay overlooking fistral beach and walking distance from the Headland Hotel. The house keeper Densie, was really pleasant to correspond with over text, welcoming us and checking if everything was ok. Great to see the secure cleaning measures in place to protect customers from covid. Apartment was really well equipped and well.furnished throughout. Would immediately recommend to anyone and fully expect we will be staying in the future.
