  • “We have just returned home for an amazing week in the stunning Hybadore Coach House.”

This house is unreal, We travelled with the family including two young children and the house catered for us all. Plenty of room and space for us all to spend time together or have our own time if we needed to chill out. I have never been in accommodation where the kitchen is so well equipped. Terry the owner is a brilliant host. He was always on hand if we had any question or just to offer us advise. The property also has cottages on site so if you needed more space you could rent these extra ...

The property

Located in one of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall in a 14 acre estate, this delightful and most spacious cleverly converted period coach house is set in the pretty riverside village of Golant, 3 miles from the famous yachting town of Fowey.

Entering this magnificent house into the impressive slate tiled hallway you are taken into the wonderfully social kitchen with ample seating for friends and family to gather and plan the day ahead.

On the first floor the spectacular sitting room features cosy sofas one end, a dining area at the other with a pool table in the middle, the perfect room for all to relax.

From here you can access the stunning roof terrace where sun bathing on a lounger or drinks can be enjoyed throughout the day whilst overlooking the private gardens.

There are two bedrooms with en-suite facilities , two bedrooms with Jack and Jill bathroom and a further two comfortable bedrooms. From the house there are so many walks to enjoy, either on the estate itself or many riverside walks even venturing into Fowey.

The Fishermans arms is a short walk into the village of Golant where local produce and fine local ales are available, you can wander down and enjoy a cold drink on the sunny terraces looking over the river Fowey.

Also in Golant, you can book a Canoe or Kayak trip to enjoy the river at its finest.

Whether a complete novice or experienced a trip can be arranged for you all year round encompassing harbours, beaches, creeks and backwaters where you will see an amazing variety of wildlife. The property is also situated a two minute walk from Saints way walk.

A truly special area to enjoy a holiday to remember.
