The property

A character cottage within the Cornish village of Goldsithney a mile from beaches and the popular village of Marazion.

Rose Cottage makes a divinely comfortable retreat for those who enjoy walking, exploring the region on foot or simply looking for a peaceful cottage escape and unwind, where relaxing is top of the agenda and day trips to the beach are a simple jaunt away.

You enter this welcoming cottage into a delightful sitting room, furnished with crimson red settees and a roaring wood burning stove that invite you to gather to unwind after a day walking the coastline.

A dining room at the far end is ideal for family gatherings to plan the day ahead and a useful breakfast table in the separate kitchen is ideal for feeding little ones or to perch for morning coffee.

Upstairs, three lovely bedrooms, each beautifully presented share a family bathroom.

Outside a gorgeous cottage garden is brimming with shrubs with Cornish Palms swaying gentle in the breeze.

Fully enclosed this is an idyllic haven to sit with a cream tea, or evening sundowner whilst the children play happily after a day on the beach.

Goldsithney is a thriving little village and offers everything should you not wish to venture further than here.

You will find two good pubs, serving great local food and ale, a convenience store, post office and a local farm shop.

Penzance is a little over 5 miles where you will find a number of large supermarkets.

The town is the mainline rail terminus and boasts a traditional promenade and the Jubilee Swimming pool an art deco seawater lido, which is open in the summer months.

The sandy beach of Perranuthnoe is just over a mile distant and a popular spot with locals for its great little café.

Praa Sands is a little further up the coast where you will find surf hire and tuition, it is also lifeguarded for an extended summer season.

This is a fabulous walking area, and the beauty spot of Prussia Cove is one not to miss as is the magical St Michaels Mount at Marazion that can be reached on foot at low tide.
