  • "Lovely well equipped spaces Barn"

  • "This was an absolutely fantastic property."

Inside was modern and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable with extra pillows and duvets to hand if needed. This kitchen was fully equipped and everything that you could possibly need. We loved watching the pigs with their piglets, goat and cows in the field. This was an exceptional property and would fully recommend a stay. The only downside was that it was impossible to walk to St Agnus on the road with our dogs and the public footway requested a call to confirm use.

Hi Carol, Thank you for your feedback and we are really pleased you enjoyed your stay. Also thanks for bringing to our attention the footpath requesting a call to confirm use, as this isn't something that we were aware of, previously you could use the public footpath which is on the opposite the entrance to the car park to walk into the village. I'll look into that now. Thanks again for staying with us. Property Owner

  • "We really loved the cottage!"

Only issue was no seating area outside of this cottage. We will try book a ground floor cottage next time. St Agnes is beautiful too.

Hi Thanks for your feedback and we really glad that you enjoyed your stay. We do provide outdoor seating that is situated in the surf shed and can be placed anywhere in the communal garden and grounds, but I don't think that I have made this clear in the property information booklet, so I will amend the brochure asap, so thank you for this bringing to our attention. Thanks again for staying in Beacon Barn. Property Owner

  • "Lovely well maintained barn conversion."

Accessed via a flight of steps outside. Fantastic location for exploring Cornwall. St Agnes itself is a lovely little coastal village. Only slight downer was that the bed was too hard. A mattress topper would have made this a perfect stay.

Hi Thanks for your feedback and we are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Regarding your suggestion of a mattress topper this is something that we will take onboard, as we always appreciate recommendations to help us make our guest’s experience as nice as possible. • "Described as nestled in St Agnes , it was sited before the sign that proclaimed the town itself and beside a busy road."

It is a beautiful barn conversion and I understand planning rules have to be adhered to, however lighting could be improved. It is very fashionable slightly at the expense of comfort, I like upright seating. Also all in one room living means xtra planning when using washing machine and cooking as unable to hear telly or each other. Bad leak in door of shower in bathroom. Perhaps some sort of gate at top of stairs would ensure child and dog safety. Giant bath towels too big to wrap hair in to prevent a soaking and only realised on last day you could tilt shower head to avoid torrent. My 28 year older daughter absolutely loved everything about it however. Love the town of St Agnes and the many super walks and interesting attractions , museum especially informative. Thankyou for most useful welcome pack, and very comfortable beds Had a ground floor property with its own outside space been available when we booked I suspect our experience would have been more positive.
