  • "We had an amazing stay at Meadowside."

The property is the most well appointed we have ever stayed in and was spotless; we were particularly taken with the Neff appliances! There was a welcome gift left which was a lovely surprise to find along with milk in the fridge. The children loved the gardens and the addition of the hot tub made their week. The property gave us space to mix and spread out alike. It is perfectly located for Perranporth beach and other local attractions but still quiet. Local amenities were spot on with a playground for the children, a lovely local shop and a pub that served amazing food. My only disappointment is that upon returning home to rebook for the same time next year the week had already gone! I have no doubt that we will be back at some point in the future at some point.

  • "The property exceeded our expectations."

The amount of room the property gives is a big bonus, we were a family of 7 adults and a young baby. There is nothing we needed to ask for, it is home from home and over and above. Good location for travelling around and we would hope to return again. Thank you to the owners for a spotless home.

  • "Easily one of the nicest, most well-equipped properties we've stayed in the UK."

The kitchen especially had all the pots, pans and accessories that we needed to make the most out of a self-catered holiday. The hot tub was also a lovely bonus to soak in after a long day of walking around the coast. The house was well located for us to travel to some very good beaches and places to visit and was very reasonably priced for the size and standard. Would definitely book again in the future if we visit Cornwall again. My only minor complaint was the front bedroom (near the front door) was uncomfortably warm all the time, like the heating was permanently turned on in it.

  • "Overall a really good stay and we were really comfortable in the property."

We had a couple of small issues when we first checked in - the upstairs electrics had tripped and the underfloor heating was set too warm for our liking. Once notified, the owners came across quickly to resolve. However we didn't really master the heating and the downstairs rooms remained very warm through the stay. The property is really well appointed with lots of kitchen equipment, board games etc and is very spacious and comfortable. My once slight disappointment was that the log burner wasn't usable - as this was something we had specifically searched for. Overall cleanliness was very good, although we did find some hair from the previous occupants on one of the bedroom carpets and tablecloth. Overall a really good stay and I would recommend

Dean thank you for your feedback and your concerns have been duly noted. Regarding the heating we were more than happy if you had called us to adjust the heating. Help was on hand just next door. I am unsure why you had any problem with the wood burner as it is fully functioning, and again we would have willingly attended to help you. Logs, kindling, firelighters and lighter were all available for you to use. Amanda and David Property Owner

  • "The house was immaculate and felt very safe."

It was located in a very central position and the hot tub was amazing located in a very pretty garden. Bedrooms spaced over two floors making it easy to accommodate at least two separate families with TVs available in each of them. All cleaning products provided made life easy and arranged a shopping delivery for the day of arrival which I would recommend as it is quite hard to get tables booked for dinner at the moment and it is a pleasure to prepare a meal in such a well equipped kitchen. Celebrated my 60th birthday here and couldn’t have been more perfect with three generations under one roof ♥️

Meadowside is a beautiful home from home furnished to the highest standard. To be honest the photographs do not do it justice. Very spacious and comfortable, equipped with absolutely everything. large garden where we enjoyed family BBQ's and relaxing in the hot tub was just splendid. Amanda the owner was on the other end of the telephone and very helpful and friendly. Meadowside house is suitable for everyone. Our family are older but non the less they had such a fantastic stay they wish to return. The house is not far from beaches and alot of activities available for all ages. Our family enjoyed various meals out however the local "New Inn" just at the corner of the street was lovely. Very friendly and food was nice. The house is a great base to visit surrounding areas which we did. This house was worth the long drive from Scotland and honestly we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Amanda we just loved your house and the extra finishing touches especially a bit of night time reading of your family history ...just beautiful x This holiday home is a must and we will return. The property is thoughtfully decorated and furnished to a very high spec. The kitchen is fantastically well equipped and there was even a BBQ provided which was perfect for the heatwave we were experiencing. I would also add that back garden was enormous and the 11 year old in our group was able to amuse himself for hours. We would have no hesitation in going back to Meadowside for a future visit.
