"Beautiful house in a fantastic location."
Ideal for a large family or group of couples. Communication with the owner after an issue with a shower drain was great and they were very helpful and friendly. Perfect house for a family/group to gather in the kitchen-diner and share a bottle of wine and play games. I was initially worried about the parking as I’ve stayed in St Agnes before and know this to be a busy, one-way street however we didn’t have much of a problem with a little patience (and we had 3 cars in our party). Storage space was minimal however this is due to the quirky character of the property and we managed just fine as a party of 7. I would recommend/stay again as the location is ideal for pubs, shops and restaurants and is in a stunning area.

"The property contained many quality fixtures and fittings, and was very clean however was missing several key basic items - many which have been fed back previously, so was disappointing."
There are no instructions at all in the property, we didn't need local details, however there is no information on bins or heating and no bedside lamps or coasters/mats to protect the lovely wooden table. The garden furniture at the front was good quality, however nowhere to store cushions, so were soaking wet. The rear space furniture was unusable and clearly not been cleaned/maintained for some time. Such a shame, as the property is lovely with many original and super features.

"The property at 21 British Road, St."
Agnes has great 19th century character, with original features and retro-contemporary decor. It was conveniently located for access to nearby Chapel Porth beach and the surrounding, dramatic coastal landscape, amenities in the village centre and to the main routes out towards Truro and the scenic Roseland peninsular on the south coast. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay here. However, there were a few shortcomings. Despite the generous offer of Prosecco on arrival, there was NO WELCOME BOOK with any guides and instructions as is normally provided in holiday let accommodation. As I am not familiar with the Nest smart heating system, we found it difficult to control the central heating. There was no advice on the disposal and recycling of rubbish. NO BEDSIDE LAMP provided - due to no nearby wall socket - in the main ‘poster bed’ bedroom, where my elderly mother slept - I had to use the floor lamp from the lounge! Car parking was a real, inconvenient hassle every day - having to constantly walk up and down the steep, one way street hill / road with bags etc. with vehicles constantly driving round the bend as there was never a space available opposite the house - having to drive round the block all the time! Constant thoroughfare traffic made it a relatively noisy environment offering little incentive to sit outside in the pleasant front courtyard. We had a great time away in this region of Cornwall yet the points raised above made our experience not as relaxing as it should have been.

"21 British Rd is a lovely house perfectly situated for the beach, bars and restaurants, however, the were several things that were disappointing."
Accommodation for 9 would suggest there would be more than one car (we had 3) but parking was extremely difficult as there are no designated spaces for the property. There was no obvious recycling bins which meant everything had to go into general rubbish which is not something we should be doing in this day an age. A tumble dryer would have been very much appreciated and finally the mattresses were extraordinarily uncomfortable leaving a number of guests with a poor nights sleep.

"Lovely, beautifully equipped house."
The only thing lacking, as far as we were concerned, was a tumble dryer for all those damp beach towels and a coffee machine. Otherwise gorgeous.

"We had a great time and the location was fantastic."
There were a few minor things we came across - toilet seats need either replacing or tightening as they move. There were only 4 wine glasses in a house that slept 9.
