  • "The cottage was a delight from the lovely welcoming tea and luscious biscuits, everything we could possibly want or need was provided."

The beds were so comfortable, the rooms were beautiful with everything we needed with extra touches throughout and Anne who was our contact person was very helpful so thank you for everything a gold star from us.

  • "Treveth was super comfy and well stocked."

It would have been nice to have a better range of books - Katy Fforde and Alan Titchmarsh doesn't really do it for me, but others may welcome the chance to binge! It's important to remember that the village is only accessible down (and therefore, up from) steep hills and the parking in the village is limited. Also, drivers not used to narrow roads may find the approaches to St Agnes challenging. We were actually forced off the road by (we assume) a local doing seventy down a single track road, fortunately with only minor damage. None of that is the fault of Treveth of course, but it's important for any nervous drivers to bear that in mind.

  • "The property was in a great location, being by Peterville area and a nice walking distance to beach."

I felt the bath could have had a rail so you could help get yourself out of the bath as quite a deep bath. Also not a lot of space in the kitchen cupboards to store any food you may bring. I moved some bowls etc to make room for food. Lovely big fridge freezer. Ample seating outside, weather permitting

  • "An amazing property."

Excellent facilities throughout the property. Super clean and everything functional and working. We had a wonderful stay. The back garden is perfect for sitting back and relaxing. Only a short walk to the cove, pubs, restaurants, shops and incredible bakery. It was everything we wanted and needed thank you so much.

Lovely and quiet which was just what we wanted. Really liked the sunny back garden.

  • "Treveth was comfortable and well equipped and ideal for a couple."

Patio furniture much appreciated in hot weather. We enjoyed walks to St Agnes and the beach at Trevaunce Cove (steep drop) and along the coast path to Trevellas Cove - even steeper and unsuitable for large cars - and returned via Trevellas Coombe, with relics of mines in the area. A short drive across to the River Fal with wonderful woodland walks and Trelissick Garden - the house is also open this summer for refreshments. Great location for touring Cornwall's north and south coasts.

  • "Super holiday house which had everything we needed and a lovely garden too."

St Agnes is a great location. We bought a £20 week long bus ticket and left the car at home, as there were many bus options available.

  • "This was possibly one of the best holiday cottages that we have ever stayed in."

Well presented and equipped, comfortably furnished in what was for us an ideal location with easy access to the coastal path, the countryside and the village and sea, plus the fascinating history and remains of the former tin and copper mining industry that once dominated the local area. We managed to do all this without getting the car out but to do so, you need to be aware of the steep slopes down and up the local area. The back garden was decked and paved, with some great plants and flowers. The addition of a “picnic table” would have made things even better although there are outdoor chairs and a low table, ideal for putting your drinks on, whilst enjoying the afternoon sun! There was an excellent selection of local guides and maps which made local exploration even easier. In short, if we were to return to this area again we would certainly try to book this cottage.

  • "The house was well presented and well finished."

We had no need to contact our host as everything was clear and to hand. If next year was available we would have booked again already!

  • "Our 2nd stay (2018 too) at this property and another fantastic stay."

The owner has thought of everything you might need and things you thought you didn't!! Great having parking outside and to be able to leave the car and get walking. A short flat walk to the coast path but thereafter a great workout with the inclines wherever you go whether it be into the village or down to Trevenaunce Cove. It all helps offset the holiday calories!! Great friendly village with lots of amenities meaning you don't need to stray too far. Would definitely book again.

  • "The house was comfortable and well appointed with a patio area and an attractive elevated garden."

Car parking in St Agnes is difficult, but for us it was a very good location with many scenic walks nearby without needing to use the car. There is an excellent bar/restaurant 10 minutes walk away, but it is down a steep hill and would not suit somebody who was not fit. We will be back next year for a visit outside the holiday season.

We thought it was very good value too for such a nice area and compared to other accommodation nearby. We would definitely recommend Treveth.

The only minor downfall is the parking is very tight due to neighbour parking 2 cars and obviously over our side!

Plenty to do around the area without travelling far. Only issue I had was the bed was slightly squeaky and the bedroom door stuck a bit but this didn't affect the holiday. Will be returning!

It is bright and comfortable with an open-plan living-dining room and kitchen area which has windows back and front; walk through to the back porch and step out into the neat garden; at this level there’s a WC.

Head up the stairs to two double bedrooms, one with TV/DVD and far-reaching rural views, and the family bathroom.

In front is the parking space and at the back, a neat, enclosed garden with table and chairs for al fresco dining or morning coffee, and with a gate to a few steps up to an area left for wildflowers with a bench for enjoying long views over naturalised land, and the neighbouring ducks.
