    “Super quiet time, lovely weather.”

    Another GREAT holiday.

Another GREAT holiday. Difficult drive into property. Bathroom could really do with hand holds/grab holds. No microwave No blender No kitchen timer Would return, maybe in low season as plenty of good heating.

The property

Wisteria Cottage is an attractive semi-detached traditional cottage in a tranquil country setting, just 1.6 miles from the sublime coastal village of St Agnes and less than 1 mile from Chapel Porth beach.

Beautifully renovated in an idyllic setting down a private lane in the grounds of the owners’ home and one other holiday cottage (Lavender Cottage 985819), it fuses character and a modern vibe to create a romantic bolthole for couples.

The interior is cosy and contemporary, with pristine ground floor bathroom with roll top bath, separate sitting room with wood burner for winter snuggles, beams and dining area plus a smart kitchen.

The first floor is host to one double bedroom with green country views, wood stripped floor and beams.

At the front is a little paved patio with BBQ/pizza oven and beyond, 1.5 acres of shared land of meadow, woodland and pond for escapism.

Less than a mile from stunning Chapel Porth beach, and a ten minute drive from St Agnes and Porthtowan beaches, Wisteria Cottage offers both country and coastal capers within easy reach.

Discover the picturesque beach at Trevaunance Cove with refreshment from the award-winning Driftwood Spars Inn.

This natural, sheltered cove has a little stream accessing the sandy shore.

Enjoy surf, swimming and kayaking opportunities.

The north Atlantic Cornish coast provides the most amazing seascapes from the South West coast path - a walkers’ paradise.

Learn of legends and history of the tin mining heritage or simply sit in a beach café or dine in the village restaurants.

St Agnes offers shops for provisions, galleries and good foody pubs.

Visit Truro City with cobbled streets and majestic cathedral with bars, cinema and theatre, plus the usual retail outlets and restaurants.

Better still, pack a hamper and watch the most stunning sunset over the ocean with a glass of bubbly!

A sublime all season retreat, Wisteria Cottage is one to return to again and again.
