  • "A superb and relaxing break."

This is now the sixth time we have stayed in this property and it comes highly recommended. My only criticism would be the late checking in time (4.30pm) and the early checking out time (9.00am).

  • "We have stayed in Pengelly several times and it is a home from home to us."

It is well provided and we love it. The weather was not kind to us on this occasion, bu Pengelly was warm and welcoming and it was no hardship to spend time indoors. Our stay coincided with the petrol shortage so we did not go out and about very much, which made it even more satisfactory that we were so comfortable in the house.

  • "

We had a wonderful stay at Pengelly, we have not used John Bray before so we were not sure what to expect."

.. we needn't have worried, the house was exceptionally well supplied with all the things we needed, and we would love to return again. One point of note - during the stormy/windy weather, the attic access panel fell open during the night, and I hit my head on it when I went to the bathroom, so the clasp probably needs replacing.

..."Thank you for your feedback, the loft catch was replaced as soon as you reported it. We look forward to welcoming you back soon".
