It sits beside the Helford River, looking towards Frenchman’s Creek to wooded hillsides and fields, with uninterrupted views. Fantastic for bird-watchers. The living room has an inglenook fireplace with a wood-burning stove, beams and two windows with wonderful river views. There is a kitchen-dining room and a utility area with side door, and, at this level, a shower-room. Head up the narrow stairs to three bedrooms – a king-size double which has a dressing/cot room and en suite shower-room, and two twin with one zip-linkable to a king-size double, and the family bathroom. There is a paved courtyard with picnic table and BBQ, and steep steps up to tiny 'hideaway' garden with a seat offering river and boating views. In front, a lane leads to the shore with quiet, sheltered picnic spots beneath trees, and a slipway where small boats can be launched. A lovely comfortable family home. A great place for kayakers and boaters. For a change of scene, there are the famous Glendurgan and Trebah gardens to visit nearby, and Helford Passage with its sandy beach, good pub, boat hire and pedestrian ferry to Helford village. There are many other beaches nearby and the nautical town of Falmouth to explore.
