  • "The cottage was immaculate again this year."

We had everything we needed. A travel cot & high chair were provided for us this year. I would definitely recommend staying at no. 18

  • "Great two bed house to stay in in lovely location."

Well presented and very clean with everything we needed. Close to Penzance town centre. Several supermarkets within 5 minute drive.

  • "We had a lovely holiday at this property & were pleased to find a dog friendly beach just a 10 minute drive away called Long Rock Beach we went there a lot as most beaches in this part of Cornwall ban dogs ,One other dog friendly beach was Porthkidney beach near st Ives."

Selection of supermarkets 10 minutes drive & Penzance has lovely little town, Fraser's fish & chips on the sea front very tasty we bought ours & walked into the Morrab sub tropical gardens to eat it you must go in there its beautiful & free . The property was as described with lovely comfortable beds(memory foam woohoo!!) & everything was clean & fresh. Only negatives could do with a new sofa & a clothes airer would be a great addition as there wasn't anywhere to hang our beach towels, wetsuits ect... We had great weather so were out a lot & didn't use the facilities on site so can't comment on those but the grounds were very well kept & a very green & pretty site ,great tennis courts 2 minutes walk from front door, also good recycling facilities which make a change Well done Kenegie Manor!! Also random temperature checks onsite twice while staying so keeping everyone safe. I would definitely recommend this property & would return. Friendly owner & nice bottle of wine left for us ,thankyou very much for a lovely holiday.

  • "We chose this property because it was advertised as having an enclosed garden, because obviously we need this having our dog with us, the garden is not enclosed in any way ,it is shared with other properties and is open on all sides , this was the only problem we had, otherwise, everything else was perfect."

  • "The driveway paths to many of the units were too narrow and generally very challenging to navigate."

This was a major problem when trying to park a vehicle. Rocks placed along these paths were not necessary, as these could easily damage a vehicle.

  • "It was a lovely property, very clean and equipped."

We had a lovely stay there. But it would be worth mentioning that we should pay £18 to use the swimming pool if not booked through the holiday park.

About the location

PENZANCE

St Ives 8 miles. Helicopter to Isles of Scilly - 30 minutes

Penzance hosts Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival, and The Literary Festival. There are also The Exchange, Newlyn and Penlee Art Galleries. One of Cornwall’s most popular holiday areas is the spectacular sweep of Mount’s Bay, from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to beautiful Marazion, the coastline hides a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves as well as winding village streets and other places to visit and explore. Connected by a causeway to the shore at Marazion is the National Trust’s stunningly beautiful St Michael’s Mount with its hilltop castle and Mediterranean gardens. Walk across at low water and take one of the ferry boats back when the tide is up. Penzance with its winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and harbour is a must as it is the jumping-off point for day trips to the Isles of Scilly as well as being the harbor. The South West Coast Path passing through Penzance winds its way along the clifftops towards Land’s End. On the way, stop off for a coffee and a rest at beautiful Lamorna Cove, explore the open air Minack Theatre and marvel at the cliffs as you approach Gwennap Head. A stunning walk for those seeking solitude, exercise and some of the UK’s best coastal scenery. Penzance is the perfect holiday base. Ideally placed for exploring this land of Celtic myth and legend and with enough to do and see in the immediate area to keep all the family occupied.
