Little legs loved getting eggs in the mornings and seeing the calves. the teenager with us complained that the wifi wasn't very good! a walk to the Halzepehron Inn is a must, sitting in the sunshine with that amazing view was a highlight of our week, we didn't want to come home and will definitely try to come back.

  • "Absolutely fantastic!"

Lovely kind host who left us fresh scones, cream and jam on arrival and let us collect eggs everyday from the hen house. Incredibly pretty house in the most amazing location. We planned to travel around the Lizard and Lands End region a bit, but found the local coast on foot so beautiful we hardly got away. Walks to Poldhu beach, Mullion, and Porthleven were spectacular. The bedrooms were cosy, as was the log fire. And the kitchen fantastic for meals - we cancelled all of our restaurant bookings throughout the week to make the most of eating in! Amazing experience - we will be back

  • "We had a wonderful time at Hingey Farmhouse."

There is plenty of space and the children in our group enjoyed the outside garden space and watching the cows. Stunning views at from some of the bedrooms and from the top of the lane. Jane was very welcoming and on hand if we needed her but we didn't. Made to feel very welcome but also left alone to enjoy our holiday. The house has everything we could want or need and was fantastic. The house was immaculately clean and we felt very safe especially during this time of the pandemic. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday. The house is ideally situated as a good base to explore Cornwall, with lands end, St ives, Portreath, Mariazon, Lizard etc all being a reasonable drive.

Farmhouse is a dream!! Everyone always wants to live in a typical farmhouse with large kitchen and stone floors!! We mainly sat around tables in very large kitchen eating drinking and playing cards! We enjoyed seeing the cows milked and seeing the baby calves! Had lovely walks around headlands, and loved the complete silence ! No traffic!! Beautiful green fields and sea views! Wonderful!!

  • "The farmhouse was so spacious and well supplied for our multi family stay."

We had lots of little children in the party but the furnishings were robust. The outside space is so much better the expected, room to create volleyball court, with plenty more areas for different requirements. The hosts were friendly, but not pushy. The house is extremely peaceful, but near enough to main roads so we could get out to Helston railway, Roskillys, the beach, Supermarkets etc. The coastal path is so near, and a pleasant pub a short walk away. We had a brilliant holiday, aided by great weather. .

  • "Hingey Farmhouse is brilliant for 10 guests as we were, six adults and 4 children."

The only reason we did not give full marks for comfort is because we have a king size bed at home and always find a double a bit small! That was the only reason. The facilities are very good; our only suggestions to improve would be another tv, possibly in the kitchen/diner or in the playroom. A beautiful beach is only a ten minute walk/2 min car drive away and shopping is excellent in Helston. If you want to see the cows being milked the Farmer and his son were most helpful and happy to explain anything. Egg collecting each morning was always a hit with the 3 younger ones (teenager not so much!) Jane left us a cream tea with masses of clotted cream and beautiful flowers in the hall and kitchen diner. The views on the nearby coastal path are breathtaking. A great week was had by all, thank you.
