  • "Fantastic holiday."

What a lovely place to stay. We really enjoyed the location of the cottage and we found we were only a short car journey from most places we wanted to visit. We loved being on the farm and feeding the animals and seeing the horses come past the cottage window. It was also really quiet and private. The cottage was beautiful inside and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. It was also great for our dog, she loved the nearby walks and there was hard flooring downstairs so it was easily cleaned after she had walked on it with muddy paws.

  • "During uncertainty if the holiay would go ahead due to the pandemic."

I found it very difficult to contact anyone at Sykes. When I eventually was able to talk to someone after many attempts, they were not very helpful, and clearly had no idea what would happen in the event of cancellation by the agent or owner. When we got to the holiday house it was excellent and the owners very helpful and friendly. The owners are obviously very experienced at holiday lets and had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We appreciated the underfloor heatin on a couple of cold nights.

  • "It was a lovely cottage out of the way, quiet and well equipped."

Not too far to local beaches and amenities but away from the hustle and bustle. We absolutely loved it!

  • "We booked this cottage with very little knowledge of the area and I have to say the number of beaches within a drive is fantastic."

The children adored the animals too the sweet goats and pigs and even the farm cats became a very firm favourite. It was a very relaxing holiday. Lovely owners on site and very easy going and helpful. We will be booking again.

  • "A beautiful and well equipped cottage in a great location."

The owners are always present if required but never interfere unless requested. All the main attractions of Cornwall are easily accessible from here but the cottage is in a very quiet rural location allowing lovely peaceful evenings. We would highly recommend Sunset Cottage to all.
