“The views from the house were absolutely beautiful.”

The house was at the top of a very steep hill which I don't think was mentioned. the house itself was very nice but we all felt it was in need of a good clean in the bedrooms The kitchen was very well equipt but some of the equipment was passed it's sell by date. we also did ring caretaker about a problem with the wi- fi but he did not reply. I hope this is not too negative we really did enjoy our stay in Mousehole and would return maybe different accommodation tho

The property

This fantastic property has lovely sea views, a fabulous interior layout and sits on the edge of the infamous village of Mousehole.

A very smart split-level detached house with stunning sea views, which stretch across to Mousehole harbour.

A comfortable, roomy, light-filled home, the living space is large, smart and open-plan with oak floors, picture windows and a 'living flame' electric fire.

Patio doors lead to the balcony which has brilliant views of the village and coastline.

Two ground floor bedrooms, a king-size double and a twin, both have superb sea views.

Stairs lead down to third bedroom, a double with pretty views of the garden reached via its own little sitting room and glazed door to the garden.

The house is surrounded by landscaped, manicured, shrub-filled enclosed gardens over different levels, from which there are amazing views - you may even spot dolphins!

Mousehole (pronounced 'Mouzzle' locally) has a selection of shops and good places to eat around its historic harbour.

Further afield, it’s worth spending a day exploring Penzance and spectacular St Michaels Mount, or take in a show at the internationally renowned Minack Theatre, a superb open air venue perched high on the cliffs at Porthcurno.

A fabulous coastline and miles of spectacular walking characterise the area, with seabirds, seals and wild headlands leading just around the corner to Land's End. The Minack cliff-top theatre is a few miles along the coast, while reminders of the region's ancient past in the form of Dolmens and standing stones appear everywhere.
