  • "Thank you for a fantastic stay, everything was just how we imagined when we booked."

From the privacy too one of our biggest loves the alpacas we loved it all. The sofa was a little low down for us we did struggle to get off sometimes however we are tall! And the only other thing was the fly's, obviously expected on a farm (in the summer) however maybe one of them magnetic fly screen doors could be an idea? These are all we can think of as everything else was superb thank you again for your friendliness and letting us meet the alpacas and cria up close. PS Sammy is one of the friendliest cats we've met!

  • "We enjoyed just about everything here."

The owner was lovely, the cottage quaint and the setting superb with stunning views. The alpacas where so cute as well as the farm dogs. The only thing that let it down was the bed. It was very soft and you could feel all the metal coil springs, needless to say, sleep did not come easy. Get a new bed and I'll be back in no time.

In a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Cottage has everything we needed for our week break away from it all. One of the reasons we also book was the hot tub, this was in excellent condition and made for a relaxing evening after days out sightseeing. Highly recommended.

  • "A wonderful stay in this delightful cottage."

Even the torrential rain didn't put us off!! Nicely situated in the countryside but you will need your own transport to get out and about as there is not much nearby you can walk to. Really enjoyed the hot tub at night, watching the stars and listening to the Alpaca's calls. Would definitely recommend this cottage as a get away from it all for peace and quiet.

The cottage is spotless and very well equipped. It's a very relaxing place to spend a week. One note of caution is that the hot tub may not be hot enough to use on your first night but it's ready to go by the next morning.

  • "The cottage itself was amazing, the best holiday cottage we have stayed in."

The kitchen was so well equipped and the hot tub was fabulous. The views from the windows were exceptional. We had a little wood full of bluebells, a bird feeder that entertained us with the antics of two squirrels, the magnificent pheasant and all the little birds as well as a woodpecker. Then the crowning glory we’re the alpacas watching them was fascinating. Unfortunately we didn’t get the weather it was very cold and wet and then my husband Alan who has a heart condition had a little turn and we had to leave on Thursday to get him home. To sum up we would certainly recommend this cottage if you want a truly amazing break. xx

  • "Idyllic setting."

Alpacas were adorable - hope the new born cria is doing well. Really enjoyed feeding and watching the birds - Mistle Thrust and Great Spotted Woodpecker particular highlights. Cottage was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Hot tub was a big bonus after a days walking on the coast. The coast and countryside around Mt Edgecombe Country Park, Tor Point is particularly spectacular. Would recommend the butchers and grocers at Tamar View (5 minutes on the road towards Saltash) for supplies. Received a very warm welcome from Gary & Felicia.

Amazing time away for my birthday and much needed after the pandemic this past year. Beautiful location and surrounded by lots to do, shopping, dry ski slope resort and lovely alpacas and meeting the lovely doggies on site too. Couldn’t recommend enough for anyone looking for a peaceful get away and enjoy some time in a hot tub looking at gorgeous views

  • "This is a cosy little cottage just far enough off the beaten track to be secluded but still close to local amenities."

The owners are nearby but leave you completely to your own devices unless needed. On arrival the cottage was spotless and within an hour we were unpacked and enjoying the huge hot tub. Meals were easily prepared in the well equipped kitchen. The fridge isn't huge so don't turn up with a weeks shopping because it won't fit. There is a small ice compartment in the fridge so you can have ice in your G&T. The lounge area is comfy with a smart TV for a good choice of channels, Internet etc. There's also a decent DAB radio to listen to. The bedroom is large with a big, comfy bed. It may be a little soft for some but we slept really well in it. There are a couple of huge wardrobes and plenty of drawers. The bathroom is has a bath and great shower as well as plenty of mirrors and razor plugs. The heating is very efficient and easy to use. The track leading up to the cottage is a bit rough at the top and I'd recommend you drive very slowly over it unless your car has good ground clearance. My car is quite low but it was never a problem. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our week and wouldn't hesitate to book another break in this beautiful part of Cornwall.

Totally restful. The cottage has everything and more than you could need. Absolutey spotless. The owners really have thought of everything. Bath robes and slippers provided for use in hot tub which was exceptional and a view to die for. Milk eggs tea sugar coffee and a bonus.... bottle of wine to start you off. Alpacas are the cutest. With the owners on hand to give a talk and walk with them. Few local pubs with good food and beers within 2 to 3 miles. Supermarket about 15 minutes away. All in all, brilliant. Will definitely be booking this cottage again.

  • "Lovely place to stay just unfortunate that there where a few things that made our stay unpleasant."

The mattress in the bedroom had springs coming though and was very uncomfortable, also we were not made aware that the when the heating came on in the morning that the pipes where so loud we would be up at 6:30 which isn’t great when you are on holiday. I understand that the accommodation is self catering but we were left with 1 toilet roll.....not sure if that was the usual of that was a mistake. Apart from those few issues the stay was lovely, very clean, very peaceful. If the few issues were rectified (the bed being the main one) then we will go back again.

We had no problems at all and it was a treat to have the chance to meet the Alpacas and learn from Ann something of their life and needs. The hot tub was great after walking up and down hills during the day. The surrounding trees gave privacy from the other cottage but at the same time gave quite a lot of shade at Lynher at this time of year when the sun is lower in the sky.
