  • “Great location. Friendly ...”

Great location. Friendly neighbours. We enjoyed exploring St Ives and Kynance Cove was a little gem. Also St Michael's Mount. Cottage itself was at the end of a quiet lane. Rinsey Cove was accessible but only for the confident with sensible walking shoes or grippy trainers as rocks very slippery and steep. Everything was provided and more! Extremely well equipped. Enjoyed perusing the cd collection. Extremely clean cottage

The property

Covva is an old stone barn conversion with a pretty garden and nestled in the cliff top hamlet of Rinsey.

It really is far from the madding crowd with amazing sea views across Mounts Bay to the Lizard Point.

Mere moments from the South West Coast Path and a secluded sandy beach, Covva is an unforgettably special, spacious and light-filled home-from-home with a reverse level layout to maximise the views.

Step inside to the sun room with views out to sea and deep sofas for lounging.

The kitchen dining room has beamed ceilings, oak wood flooring and a chunky dining table for sociable mealtimes.

Head upstairs to the large sitting room and plenty of comfortable furniture, original artwork, books, games, toys and a piano!

You will sleep soundly in peaceful bedrooms, some with sea views.

Ideal for extended families, there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom on the ground floor and a second double bedroom on the first floor.

Outside there is a sunny patio terrace with sea views and garden furniture for barbecues and alfresco meals plus an enclosed garden for children.

Covva sits at the end of the lane so there is little passing traffic.

The sandy beach at Rinsey Cove, which is approx. 500 metres along a steep winding footpath, is your playground.

Discover a dog friendly beach and a sublime seascape with dramatic cliffs and old mining ruins.

Follow the coast path to the fishing village of Porthleven, its beach and atmospheric harbour and pier.

Explore art galleries, gift shops, cafes, traditional old inns and excellent foodie restaurants, including Rick Stein Porthleven.

Further along the coast is the lifeguarded beach and golf course at Praa Sands and the island topped castle of St Michael's Mount at Marazion.

Helston lies at the western gateway to the Lizard Peninsula, a large area of downland fringed by a beautiful and spectacular coastline. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for its Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum.
