Henwood Barns consists of three thoughtfully renovated, stone-built barn conversions in the Cornish hamlet of Henwood near Upton Cross. This collection dates back to the 1840’s but today benefits from off-road parking for each property, communal lawn with seating and unbeatable panoramas of the countryside and Bodmin Moor Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as inviting bedrooms and living spaces with woodburning stoves at the centre and a fantastic location with Cornwall’s endless attractions at your fingertips as well as the coast. Find local amenities a short drive away in the village of Upton Cross where you can stock up on all of your self-catering essentials at the local store or enjoy a well-earned break from the kitchen with a delicious meal at the Caradon Inn. Outdoor enthusiasts will be in their element thanks to the barns’ position in Bodmin Moor AONB, take advantage of the myriad of walks and trails woven throughout the heather clad terrain, enjoy stunning views across Cornwall or admire wonders like Golitha Falls, The Cheesewring and the beautiful Carnglaze Caverns. Those seeking a taste of the coast can jump in the car and head for Millendreath and Looe to while away days upon the golden shores of East Looe Beach or Plaidy Beach or travel to Portwrinkle to rent kayaks to explore the open water. Other must-see attractions include the historic Bodmin Jail, the educational Eden Project and the impressive Lanhydrock House and Garden.
