    Mr Neville

“The Limes to my family and myself was a nice relaxing break, in a well laid out, well equipped, well maintained quiet location.”

There was a nice surprise of tea and biscuits being laid out on the table upon our arrival. The owners Mr & Mrs Harvey, of whom we spoke to on several occasions during our stay, were very informative and helpful about local places to go visit etc, as well as being easy to talk to. As The Limes is situated on a working smallholding, we tended to see/speak to, Mr Harvey as he went about the day to day running of the smallholding. There were a couple of very minor problems with the accomodation, of which we told Mr Harvey, and these were sorted out straight away. We tried to make it clear to Mr Harvey that this was not a complaint, rahter just to let him know. I am a strong believer in that if the owners or agents are not informed of any problems, then how can they be expected to resolve them. As the Sykes advert mentions, The Limes is in a reasonably central position to explore the surroundings. We ventured to Lands End for a day, the old tin mines for a day, Lost Gardens Of Heligan for a day, etc. When speaking to Mr Harvey about our plans of where to go, he gave us some interesting background to some of our destinations. All in all a very nice holiday break, and this one is definately on my return visit list. Mr Neville April 2019
