  • "A great holiday cottage; very well equipped and in an amazing location."

However, a few gripes that meant it didn’t exceed expectations. Firstly, there was a strong smell of animal urine in the ground floor bedroom, I assume from a previous guest. Secondly, the shower unit in the mast bedroom needs relaxing. You can’t actually ‘shower’ under it as the clip was broken and then the door wouldn’t shut properly, leading the whole room to get wet. Apart from them, pretty good!

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear you experienced a couple of issues whilst at the property, had you discussed these with us at the time of your holiday we would have been more than happy to try and resolve this for you. We have spoken with the owner who will look into your comments. Despite the points you raise we are glad you otherwise enjoyed your time in Cornwall. Property Owner

  • "The Coastman's Nest is a fabulous house."

It was very clean with amazing views and had great facilities, everything you need plus more. The linen was top quality, crisp white sheets. The welcome hamper much appreciated as we were late arriving. The house is in agreat location to explore Cornwall and 5 minutes from a fabulous beach. There is also a great spa just down the road which my husband enjoyed very much. Will definitely be coming back and hopefully the weather will be better.

Note: We would like to advise that we have recently become aware that a nearby property known as ‘Chy Ryn’ is currently undergoing building work. Chy Ryn is across the lane at the foot of the garden and although it is well screened by bushes and a hedgerow, it is possible you will be able to glimpse some of the development and may be able to hear some of the associated work during the day. Work takes place on the house from 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday and we have been reassured by the contractor that the noisiest work is now complete. If you should have any further queries, please don’t hesitate to ask us.
