  • "Both my Wife and I very much enjoyed staying at your place."

We found it a great location to use for exploring the area. It was quite and a 20 minute drive in any direction lead to all sorts of adventures. Thanks a million for letting us stay with you!

  • "The view from the kitchen window and back garden are beautiful and the cottage is handy for the local shop, pub and bus stops."

Sadly the chip shop and tapas restaurant have closed which was disappointing. The cottage is cozy and clean and a slight problem we had on arrival was speedily sorted by the delightful Tessa along with the handyman. We did find the stairs a challenge as the head height is very low, and the downstairs bathroom is not ideal, but of course we knew this when we booked . Sadly we didn’t have the best weather but the wood burning stove was great and kept us warm. I would have liked a little more in the way of reading lamps, books, throws, and maybe a small radio for the kitchen but overall the cottage was very well equipped with beautiful towels, bedding, kitchen wear etc. The complimentary wine, toiletries etc was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.

Nice layout with amazing views from the back of the cottage. Very clean and easy check in/out. Short walk to some beautiful beaches and an even shorter stumble to the best local pub. The Radjal. Great beers, even better locals. Thank you.

  • "This was a great holiday location base for us in Cornwall."

The property was comfortable, clean, and had great facilities. Only two small recommendations - the shower/shower head is not very powerful, our suggestion would be to look if anything could be changed/improved? Also the written text about the rubbish bin collections - the day seems to be incorrect. I think it said Wednesday night, and we did put everything out, but it didn't get picked up. But I do think I heard the rubbish men coming very early on Monday morning?

Clean and has everything you need. A short walk down to the New Inn for a drinks/meal is very worth while.

  • "Delightful cottage."

Superb views and location. Very clean and lots of information posters. Only two things would have improved our stay. Very minor details and possible we may have missed these items. 1. I would have appreciated a hairdryer in the cottage. 2. I couldn’t find any instructions on how to use the television . Overall an excellent cottage with every facility within walking distance I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

  • "The owner has given much thought to the needs of guests and has generously equipped the cottage with high quality goods."

We felt extremely welcome. The only possible improvements would be a larger teapot and an electric towel rail in the bathroom so that we didn't need to run the central heating just to dry towels. A fantastic location for walking the coastal path. We'd be more than happy to return. Thank you!

  • "I have stayed at this cottage multiple times, this time with a friend."

It has two good double bedrooms and a comfortable lounge. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a wonderful sea view. Happy to see a bigger TV now!!! The location is fantastic for us to explore Penwith and a couple of great places to eat within walking distance (North Inn, Trewellard Arms). Internet is good too and parkinv right outside . Will continue to return to this great little cottage.

The cottage is very clean and nicely arranged with beautiful ocean views from the kitchen and conservatory. A peaceful and quiet location. We explored historic tin mines, beautiful beaches in St. Ives, and hiked along coastal paths enjoying breathtaking ocean views.

  • "Great cottage with everything you could need for your stay."

Have to duck going down the stairs due to the low ceiling but its not a big deal. Free parking right outside the property on the road and a great pub called The North Inn within walking distance. Had a lovely stay at The Blue Reef.

Second stay there and another one booked. It's a great location and has everything you need. One minor gripe is that the tv is tiny and with the euros in at the moment, it was difficult to watch the football.

  • "Absolutely superb, we found no negatives."

We've used holiday cottages before, none have ever come close to the standards and thought to detail as this one. Everything is thought of, right down to the potato peeler, just bring your food and enjoy. Excellently placed for Lands End, St Ives Falmouth and Pendeen Lighthouse is well worth the short walk to see. We loved every minute of our stay.

Beautiful area. We had a wonderful family holiday with our toddler. We recommend to visit St.Ives, Sennen Coves/Land's end, Polperro, Looe,... and also to go to the lighthouse in Pendeen, there's a nice walk from the cottage till the lighthouse. Also great pubs in Pendeen, lovely town. Cornwall is really beautiful. We recommend both the cottage and the area. Just take care with the low roof in the stairs that go upstairs :) The fireplace is lovely. The kitchen is perfect.
