  • "Five Elements Barn was clean and comfortable, though a little cramped for 5 adults."

Facilities were as one would expect, though there was a washing machine but nowhere to dry clothes. However, the drive to the Barn wasn’t altogether suitable for a standard/low car. Sari was on hand and helpful.

  • "We loved our stay , and Sari was always on hand to answer any questions or give advice."

The accommodation was fantastic and the hot tub was the icing on the cake as after a long day visiting places along the Cornish coast a long relaxing soak outside was the perfect end to the day. Would highly recommend. Also , where it is located ,most places are only 30 - 40 minutes drive so it's quite central. My self and my family would like to say a big thank you to Sari for making our stay unforgettable.

  • "Perfect location, lovely hot tub, and very clean house."

However for the £646 we paid, we expected more in space and better facilities. We found the barn slightly cramped - there were 3 of us staying and we had to work round each other in the kitchen. The butchers block was in the way. The dining table was cramped for 3 people to sit round comfortably, the shower was tiny and there was no dishwasher and no Wi-Fi. Apart from these points everything else was ok. Thank you,

We were let down by a poor lodge and were so lucky to get this barn at the last minute. What a breath of fresh air this accommodation is, one of the best we have stayed in. The location is ideal and very close to Newquay, brilliant accommodation comprising of really good size bedrooms and a good sized living area and kitchen. The furnishings are brilliant and the items in the barn for everyday use are of top quality. • "We have just come back from a lovely stay in five elements."

It is a very quiet location with only the chickens in the background. They're lovely sound was wonderful to listen to and we also bought some eggs from the little hen house. Our lively grandson could make all the noise he wanted without disturbing other holiday makers. The hot tub was very welcomed after each day at the various beaches. We would thoroughly recommend staying in the five with it's easy location to drive to other locations.

  • "What a lovely barn run by the loveliest of people Oli & Sari."

We booked this property on the day of going and they could not have put themselves out any more than they did. The beds in all rooms were so comfortable my daughter the morning after arriving did not want to get up. New Years Eve in the outhouse was furnished lovely with chairs and tables and a fire-pit for toasting marshmallows. They even arranged more fairy lighting so that the evening could be more enjoyed. This property was also pet friendly and we was not let down by this either. I must say that we cannot wait to visit again. Martin, Janis & Co.

  • "The collection of properties are set in an idyllic location amongst trees and green space, yet just a few minutes away from the main roads."

Communication with the owner was excellent and they accommodated our request to stay an additional night. The barn had everything we needed for a week's stay, it was perfectly clean, had super comfy beds and comfortable living areas. The only downside was that it didn't have a garden to speak of. The outdoor seating area, which I'm sure would have been lovely in the warmer months, was detached from the property. My dog could not be let off the lead so this was a minor inconvenience for us. Overall a fantastic stay and even the weather wasn't too horrible for October half term... Would definitely recommend.
