"A lovely cosy cottage in an amazing location, from which you can explore the Cornish countryside."
This was our third visit, which speak for itself.
The traditional cream tea and the little vases of flowers when we arrived were a lovely touch.
As always, we have one tired and very fit dog!
Thank you again Sarah for your warm hospitality.

"This was a very comfortable property with very welcoming hosts."
There was a delicious cream tea on arrival and fresh flowers in the rooms. The house was warm, the bed large and the towels soft and fluffy. The garden was enclosed and there was an adjoining meadow to stroll in. We were lucky enough to see deer down by the stream early one morning.
It was a very quiet location, - the stars at night were so clear and bright, but there were beautiful coastal coves within a few miles and various woods and gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

"Although another property on the site at no time did we feel bothered by others."
Our hosts were excellent and very helpful and on-site if needed.
The bed was comfortable, the settee was comfortable and the television was adequate.
Kitchen was reasonably well equipped, no sharp knives of course. Seems to be a feature of Sykes holidays, blunt knives.
The overall experience of the property and the area was superb.
Highly recommended.

"A perfect cottage in a perfect location, we couldn’t have asked for anything more other than less rain!"
Sarah & Richard were wonderful hosts, making us and the dog very welcome indeed, never once minding when she said good morning (loudly!) to the local wildlife!
The Mill Cottage was beautiful, really comfortable and blissfully peaceful, I’d recommend it to anyone. There was loads to do locally from beach and woodland walks, to visiting the fishing harbours. We found good pubs to eat at and an amazing farm shop all within a short drive, plus the best pasties in town at Nellies.

"The Mill is a true gem, a genuine Cornish oasis for two (plus dog!"
). Sarah welcomed us on arrival, told us everything we needed to know, and had prepared a gorgeous clotted cream tea for us! The cottage is a delightful converted Mill (compete with wheel at the back), in an upside down layout. Large comfortable bedroom on ground floor, with bathroom next door. Perfect alcove for dog bed next to front door, easy to wipe down and feed dog. Upstairs is very large vaulted living/dining/kitchen, with everything we needed for warm and comfortable stay. Log burner, TV, DVD, excellent kitchen, lovely views. Always warm, plenty of hot water. There's a pretty enclosed garden for the dog to roam unmonitored, and a huge private meadow with mown paths for dog walking. Location is perfect for exploring eastern Cornwall, north and south. Emphatically recommended, we will return. Thanks, Sarah!
