"The lodge was lovley with a few little touches when we arrived which after a 6hr journey was very much appreciated."
The hot tub was very nice and lovley to chill out in. We would definitely come back. The only downside I would say was the showers were very temperamental, rather very hot or cold but all in all it was a lovley place to stay and very central. Thankyou.

"Lovely property fully equipped with all the essentials like from home to home."
The hot tub is an added bonus, but never seen any maintenance on it in the whole week
-
"Loved staying here, so clean and had everything you needed."
Very comfortable stay and loved the jacuzzi
-
"Only complaint we could make about the lodge is the fact that the Hot tub wasn't checked during our stay resulting in the water level dropping through out the week."
..as far as the park is concerned all the lodges could use a good jet wash to freshen it up a bit

"Great stay in a lovely property."
Well decorated and maintained. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of flatwear, cups, glasses etc. Decent single oven and electric rings. TV a bit cheap and nasty, but worked okay, albeit awful sound quality. Furniture adequately suitable for a holiday home. Only gripe I guess was the double bed seemed small (but that might be due to being used to a KS at home). Everywhere was clean and tidy. The Hot Tub was an added bonus, easy to use and to get in and out of. Location absolutely great for the areas between Devon and Cornwall, especially getting to Plymouth, Liskeard, Looe and Tavistock... Decent A roads just a short distance away, as well as Gunnislake train station. Lots of local things to do, even the rain didn't stop us from enjoying our time there. The pub, games room and Leisure Centre are just a 5 minute walk from the door.

"We had a wonderful stay."
So clean and comfortable. Unsure if hot tub was maintained daily as on listing. Say this because we didn’t see anyone & couldn’t fit cover properly (our fault) and it remained the same throughout our stay??. Apart from this, what a lovely home from home. Many thanks from Maggie

"Loved our stay at No 19."
Hot-tub fabulous and well-maintained. Clean and tidy accommodation with plenty of kitchen equipment. Shame about the restrictions on times for using the Park's swimming pool and gym though and gym is only for over-18s. Postcode incorrect on Sykes details.

"The lodge was extremely comfortable and had every utensil required in the kitchen."
It was very clean and well looked after. The only downside to the facilities was the water temperatures in the hot tub and the ensuite shower attached to the double bedroom. The hot tub water temperature was either too cold or too hot to use it most of the time. The temperature ranged from 23 degrees to scolding hot at 41/42 degrees and could have caused serious injury to a child if they entered before the parent checked. It needs some IMMEDIATE ATTENTION from a qualified engineer The water in the en-suite shower was also too hot to stand under and adding cold water from the tap just made it go far too cold to use. We were very disappointed that we hardly used the hot tub because this was one of the main reasons we booked this lodge. Some blackout blinds are required in the bedrooms to block out the external site lights. We would go back to the lodge again if we were given assurances that the water temperatures had been rectified.
We are having new ground floor decking and 1st floor balcony fitted, a new hot tub will be installed this month. We supply our contact details to all guests via email before they arrive and will always respond if contacted to put things right at the time. Property Owner

The hot tub was too hot to be in not so good, some one came to it midweek, the place smelt as we entered and one of the bedrooms smelt of dog the oven was not clean

"Excellent place to stay."
Good location for a central base to travel around. Don't rely on the local swimming pool for entertainment as it is very small and shallow but the property has a hot tub that is deeper. Everything you need and friendly contact if you need anything else.

"Could do with another sofa There was six of us we managed ok."
The property was lovely. We enjoyed sitting out on the Veranda loved the jacuzzi

"This was a lovely place to stay."
Everything we could possibly need and very comfortable. We booked it for the hot tub and it didn't dissapoint. Location is great for loads of attractions including the Eden project, plymouth, steam trains, and loads more! Highly recommended.

"Spacious holiday lodge, very clean and equipped well."
Hot tub great when temperature held at a heat that was bare able. Shame on site pub closed at early times. Sunday 6:30 pm during the week if lucky it stayed open

"We had a lovely stay at your property, total rest and relaxation."
I marked down on cleanliness as the pans, trays and cutlery we had to wash before we could use them, the rest of the lodge was immaculate. I also marked down on comfort due to the beds not being comfortable. A couple of issues with the hot tub so we contacted the owners and maintenance came the same day. Overall I would recommend this property. Than you for a lovely stay.

"Excellent property - just as the photos show."
Nice location on the park as you're slightly elevated so not overlooked by anyone else. Owners are helpful and responded very quickly when we emailed them.

"We had a great break at the cottage in a picturesque location."
The night sky on a clear night was amazing with zero light pollution. The facilities were amazing and well thought to cater for all including children. We will recommend it to our friends and families whole heartedly.

"The lodge was beautifully maintained."
The hot tub was a touch of luxury. The pub on site did lovely food and the staff were really nice. The only downside was trying to find the lodge we drove round for ages and the roads inside the park were full of pot holes

Lovely cottage very well equipt and cosy , everything was lovely and clean , great location for using the facilities easily, only let down was the very small fridge for a family of 5 it was inadequate maybe the addition of a table Top drinks fridge or a free standing fridge freezer, also the hot tub cover was very tatty and a bit mouldy I understand with the heat and water it’s inevitable it’s just an observation , overall lovely cosy holiday let , the facilities were good but the indoor pool was always over booked and you had to pay to use the games room , the pub is lovely all the staff are very friendly and the food is good basic pub food which the kids loved

"Wow what a find!"
We’re only from Plymouth but this little gem at St Ann’s Chapel is wonderful. We stayed at No19 for a week with 5 adults and a child (aged 7). It’s one of only a few with a hot tub and is beautifully decorated for a calm feel. The blankets were soft and cosy and the outside table and chairs are comfy for the balcony. What a view too! The sofas are very comfy with plenty of cushions and seats for us all. The kitchen has all of the amenities that you need (we found bowls and bits in the dishwasher) - it was all there! We took tea towels, kitchen roll and tin foil as these bits always help on a holiday. There was tea towels there, dishwasher tabs and liquid. There was sugar and coffee sachets and a fridge with a box freezer which was helpful. There is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All of the beds are comfy. The double bed was so cosy with extra blankets, a mattress topper and extra pillows. Plenty of space for hanging clothes and drawers for folded clothes if needed. En suite had a bath and shower (bit fiddly to get nice temp water - but part of the fun). Both bathrooms had radiators to warm your towels and both were spotlessly clean. There was clear instructions for the hot tub and water and phone numbers in case of issues (not needed). The site has parking near to the lodge, and there are a few steps to go up and down to access the property but all have bannisters. The site has a pool, bar, restaurant and an emergency holiday shop (milk, crisps, bread, pool noodle). Excellent facilities and a wonderful lodge. Thank you.

"Overall the property was fine but it wasn't very Clean and bedding had in fairness seen better days."
Double mattress needs changing not very comfortable and quite lumpy. Hot tub lovely when working, circuit tripped at least 2-3 times every time we went in it. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

"An excellent cottage with great facilities set in a wonderful location."

"The lodge was really nice, the only let down was the parking."
4 nights in a row I got back after a day out to find all the parking spaces gone. But not to people on our lot, anyone on the park. I have severe breathing difficulties plus a 12 month old baby and had to park in someone else parking spot 300 meters away at the bottom of the hill. Why this park doesn't just put lodge numbers on the car park I have no idea. Also, depending on which lodge you choose, there is no provision made for people with wheelchairs. Which ours wasn't. My only two gripes. The rest of the stay was excellent.

"Lovely stay at the lodge on Honicombe Park."
We stayed there for a week at the end of August , five of us and our small dog. Lodge very well equipped, bedding and towels provided, good parking, very close to the pool, games room etc. Huge bonus having the Hot Tub which was maintained every day we were there. At one point we had a problem with the hot tub and from texting the owner and the maintenance man coming to sort the issue it was all fixed within 20 minutes, fantastic response! In places the lodge could do with a bit of tlc but overall a lovely place. The park the lodge is on is perfect for a family holiday, very quiet, with a bar serving great food, indoor and outdoor pool, games room and play parks. The only downside is you have to drive everywhere off the park, no where is walking distance.

"Our accommodation was not clean lots of cobwebs!"
Furniture very outdated! Cooker hood didn’t work! None of the bedroom doors closed! House smelt of mildew! Single shower room drain blocked! Would of been nice to be able to relax near hot tub but only one broken plastic chair! Outside decking area full of cobwebs chairs very uncomfortable would of been nice to have sun lounger to relax in.

"The holiday cottage was nice."
Needs cleaning a little better. Cobwebs around the balcony. doors to bathroom were broken so didnt shut properly. overall for the money was good value just a couple of little things that could easily be put right.
-
"Lovely holiday centre, very Covid safe."
