  • "Ideal for a relaxed and quiet holiday, great base to go off and explore."

  • "Having avoided holiday camps for years (my children are grown up) I wasn't looking forward to being so close to other families."

But this site does not feel cramped, lots of space and beautiful grounds. the lodge itself was more spacious then i expected, with lots of storage space. Cool bedrooms due to them being downstairs. Big kitchen, well stocked. comfortable furniture. Maybe the beds could do with better mattress toppers, and for a booking of six people a larger saucepan would be very useful. On a personal note, having a leg condition which means i have to elevate my legs, a stool or poufe would have been so nice. Overall, a great stay with lots of local places to visit.

All bedrooms had had musty smell in the draws when opened, so we did not use. We did ring up re car park spaces as we could not park by the Lodge one night as Cars left there were so badly parked, they were also Cars from lodges on the slope

  • "Great location, the house was very clean and homed 6 adults easily."

A couple of points to note, some of the mattresses need replacing and there needs to be a couple of bigger saucepans for 6 people. But I would have no problem renting that house again.
