“We were a party of 8 adults (2 families) and stayed for 4 nights.”

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to return again in the future. It was a very nice, modern, spacious house, which was very well equipped and immaculate. The only thing that the men in the party complained about was that there were no pint glasses so their beer didn't taste quite the same in a tumbler or wine glass! We would definitely recommend this property. We felt very lucky to have been able to book this place at very short notice. It was convenient to have ...

It was convenient to have the shops and pub close by. We did walk to Cawsands and Kingsand (it's not that far but it's a bit hilly). We also visited Whitsand Bay, Looe, Fowey and caught the ferry from Cawsands to Plymouth. Also caught the bus from Plymouth back to Millbrook, the bus stop is just around the corner. So there are plenty of places to visit. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

About the location

MILLBROOK

Whitsand Bay 1 mile; Plymouth 8 miles.

Set in a bowl of hills at the head of a tidal creek that leads to the Hamoaze, opposite the great naval city of Plymouth, Millbrook is located on the Rame Peninsula, "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner". Bounded by the Lynher and Tamar rivers, the Hamoaze and the sea, the area is deeply rural and designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a good range of shops and pubs, while close by are the pretty coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, from which a ferry will take you to Plymouth. Along the southern edges of the peninsula are miles of beautiful walks with glorious views of Rame Head. Just a mile south of Millbrook lies Whitsand Bay with its miles of uncrowded sandy RNLI patrolled beach and dramatic cliffs. A superb base for discovering the wild side of Cornwall.
