  • "From the second we arrived we felt at home, with 2 small autistic children this was very important to us and they felt very comfortable here."

It was clean and tidy, the beds were beautiful and very comfortable. The underfloor heating was amazing to have under the feet in the mornings too! The man looking after 32 trevithick was absolutely spot on with attending to issues within the property and they were addressed promptly, replying to messages even on Sunday! Would highly recommend and will definitely be looking to stay here again!

It is fully kitted out with all the modern furniture and appliances required to enjoy a self catering break. The location is well chosen for all the tourist sites and great beaches around west Cornwall.

  • "This is a lovely lodge with everything needed for a family stay."

Plenty of crockery etc, excellent washing machine and the beds are so comfortable. Decor is modern and lodge is well laid out and comfortable. Free passes were also provided for use of the on site pool and, bar and club. Our only issues were, another family had somehow managed to enter the lodge before us then realised they had the wrong lodge, we still do not know how they did this as the keys were locked in the key coded box on our arrival. Thankfully they had realised before using any facilities or beds. we had no Wi-Fi all week until on the last night my son noticed the Wi-Fi box had been unplugged in the rear bedroom. We did not know about the immersion heaters for hot water and had to rummage through a pile of leaflets to find the lodge instruction manual which seems a little out of date and should be made more easily available. The provided clothes airer was broken, we managed with just the lower section but the bars had broken to fully extend it. Overall these were minor issues that did not spoil our holiday and can easily be rectified. We would definitely book again.

  • "Could not fault the accommodation the only drawback was the use of the on site facilities."

The listing gave the impression that we could have free use but when we arrived we were told that we would have to pay extra for a facilities pass. When we queried this at reception we were told to "take it up with the owner". We, of course, had no direct dealings with the property owner and had to go through Sykes. We gave up in the end and amused ourselves elsewhere.

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear you had trouble with the pass for the facilities. The owner does pay for the pass for the property and will check with reception that they are still handing out passes in the normal way. We hope to see you back soon. Property Owner

The property was beautifully decorated, equipped and very warm and cosy! The level of cleanliness was excellent. Our grandchildren were entranced with its woodland setting - delighted to see squirrels and the occasional young seagull. We will return!!!

Hayle is a lovely place with gorgeous beaches and ideally located to visit other places. The owner of the property was great in dealing with any issues quickly and very well to ensure we had a good holiday.

  • "We had a lovely week at this beautifully appointed house."

Decorated to a very high standard and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. The property owner was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating towards our need for medical equipment being delivered to site. This was hugely appreciated by us and took the stress of travelling away. The park is small and quiet, but clean and tidy with some facilities. Parking sometimes a little difficult when coming back late but could be found somewhere on the park. The park would benefit from marking out parking bays to aid this. Beach access locally is very steep but easy beach access nearby by The Bluff Inn - pay & display. All in all a lovely, well located, beautiful base for your Cornish holiday.

The place was clean and comfortable but could do with a clean outside and on the ceilings inside as there were lots of cobwebs and the entrance door looked like was never cleaned

Thank you for feedback. The cleaners of this property have been spoken too, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Property Owner

  • "Fantastic accomodation."

Fully equipped for a self catering holiday. Great location to tour. Didnt realise it was on a John Fowler site, but a pleasant surprise, able to use on site facilities, given the younger party members some independance. Only down side being we couldnt access property till 5pm, and had to be out by 9am - even though booking stated 10am. Would definitely return!

  • "Spec of house is lovely."

Clean and tidy, literally everything you need included, and well placed for visiting other parts of Cornwall. Not so keen on the holiday park which is more suited for young families. Just not our thing. Only issue was WiFi but depends how much you need it (as it was Covid tried to prebook train, restaurants, etc but was difficult. Only way to best the competing WiFi networks around was to get online early!)

The dining area has a dining table that can seat up to eight, in front of the patio doors, which open up onto the garden area, and offers an ideal spot for enjoying meals together, prepared in the newly fitted kitchen, equipped with all the appliances you could need to prepare delicious home-cooked meals.

There is a tiled, ground-floor shower room with cosy underfloor heating and towel rail, while up the glass-framed staircase, the family bathroom with partial wood paneling, a bath with handheld shower and a heated towel rail can be found.

The three bedrooms are on the first floor;a master king-size double, which has French doors onto a private balcony, along with a flatscreen TV and wardrobes for clothes storage, a double room and a triple room with a set of bunk beds and a single bed, which would be an ideal space for younger guests.

Outside there is off-road parking available, a patio area to the rear with picnic benches, where you can enjoy an alfresco lunch, along with a patio area at the front with outdoor furniture, where you can bask in sunshine.

There are many on-site facilities you can take advantage of, with an outdoor and indoor pool, a squash/tennis court and a bar/restaurant, as well as an RSPB estuary flowing close by, which you can enjoy scenic strolls along and observe fascinating wildlife.

The centre of Hayle is less than a mile from the property, where the estuary flows into St Ives Bay, which offers a two-mile stretch of sandy beach at The Towans, which ends at Godrevy Point, where you will find the lighthouse that stands alone on an island out to sea, as well as Gwithian Beach, which is popular with surfers, while surfing and kayak lessons are available locally, should you wish to brush up on your skills.

Hayle is a walker's paradise, with 'walkers are welcome' status and a plethora of footpaths and trails to follow, as well as attractions to visit like the heritage centre and Paradise Park and JungleBarn Cornwall, a family-friendly day out where you'll see a variety of birds and animals, as well as offering a children's play area, where the little ones can let off some steam.

St Ives is further along the coast, where you can admire art galleries, sub-tropical gardens, museums and an idyllic harbour, providing boat trips to Seal Island, to observe the seal colonies, as well as trying your hand at mackerel fishing.

Hayle is well-positioned for exploring a wide area of Cornwall with ease, and attractions such as the Minack Theatre, Falmouth Maritime Museum, Eden Project and St. Michael’s Mount are all a short drive away.

32 Trevithick is a fantastic base for a seaside escape in Cornwall with your loved ones.

About the location

HAYLE

St Ives 6.3 miles; Penzance 7.4 miles.

Hayle is in the far-flung south western corner of Cornwall and sits on an important RSPB wildlife estuary flowing out to the beautiful St Ives Bay, where visitors can enjoy three miles of golden sandy beaches, walks, history and wildlife. Hayle has plenty of activities out of the water too; Paradise Park is a wildlife park, home to some spectacular parrots, otters, and red pandas. Hayle has a range of shops, restaurants and bars scattered around the estuary and harbour area. There are skittles and karting for the family, and for golfers, one of the best links golf courses in Cornwall is at Lelant, a mile out of Hayle. But the jewel of Hayle is the three miles of golden sandy beach, with fantastic surfing at Gwithian where there is a surf shop, lessons and hire of equipment. For the less energetic there are beach cafés where you can take in the views and watch the children play. As Hayle is centrally located you can easily access many other places by either public transport (there is a train station at Hayle) or driving. St. Ives is a short drive away where you can wander through the narrow streets, visit the art galleries, or admire the colourful sub-tropical gardens. St Ives harbour has its own small fishing fleet and there are plentiful boat trips skippered by locals keen to showcase the best that Cornwall has to offer, whether it be seal watching at Seal Island, a couple of hours' mackerel fishing or a relaxing trip to Godrevy Lighthouse. Within easy reach of Hayle is the Minack Theatre, Falmouth Maritime Museum, Eden Project, St. Michael’s Mount and many other fantastic tourist attractions for dry or wet days.
