  • "The cottage is shows signs of age, however this did not impact on the comfort or facilities."

The shower is probably the location showing the most wear, the seal in the shower has clearly been breached, as we had water dripping on to the kitchen floor. The beam shows water marks which have occured over time. The shower worked but over time the water breach will probably cause more damage. The leak was reported when we discovered it. We did not see anyone at the location and it was great to get away from it all. Good place for exploring Kent. St Margaret's Beach is very much worth a visit.

  • "We have just spent 10 days in the Juniper lodge and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

It is the perfect location to explore the whole of Cornwall. Just outside of Truro town centre and all it’s amenities. The lodge itself was clean and had everything you needed. The decking area is a bit small and not very private but it does the job. The floor boards creek a lot so once one person is awake so is everyone else and the last little negative is no black out blinds in the bedrooms, obviously summer months and sunrise is early so you either wake up with the sun or someone walking on the floor boards. That being said they are small negatives and if you can put up with that then you could do a lot worse than stay here. The host of the property is really nice, she introduced herself whilst we were there which was a nice thing to do. Although the Jupiter does not allow dogs some of the other lodges do so bare this in mind. Everyone seemed to be respectful of this but last few days one family decided to open there patio doors and constantly let there dog bark early morning, amazing how many people just think of themselves!!!!! Would we return, definitely as we loved the area and if the minor issues were sorted then it’s the perfect stay.

  • "Our stay at Juniper was perfect."

It was exactly as described online. Michelle was lovely and kept in touch throughout to make sure we were happy with everything. It was a very spacious, comfortable stay, spotlessly clean, with very modern equipment to use I.e Alexa, coffee machine, dish washer, washing machine and dryer. It was in an extremely quiet location, with beautiful surroundings. Thank you for the welcome gift too. Would highly recommend and hope to return in the future. Lisa

The accommodation and rural setting are superb. We all fell in love wit the serenity and never got boring looking out of the windows at the beautiful views across the landscape. A few small things. The freezer was unstable and the oven was complicated to use

  • "A very comfortable stay."

A couple of minor maintenance issues were sorted very quickly. Michelle the manager is very friendly and responsive. The property is wheelchair friendly throughout, but would benefit further from additional grab rails being installed in the wet room shower area, and an extra, lower, shower head bracket, which could be reached from a shower seat.

With great views of the surrounding countryside. The location is superb and very relaxing. The patio deck is accessed off of the lounge, with a table and 6 chairs. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and separate dryer. Michelle the owners lodge manager, was very helpful and professional. We cannot recommend highly enough the lodge and location. Ideally located to explore all that Cornwall has to offer.

  • "We were touring the Cornish Peninsular so this area suited our needs perfectly and the property itself was ideal."

The lodge was well laid out, the rooms spacious and comfortable and the facilities all very high-spec. Michelle, the site manager visited us on our arrival with some helpful information and leaving her phone number if we had any issues needing resolution. There weren't! The welcome pack shown in the listing contained a small pack of tea-bags, some Cornish biscuits and a jar of jam - all much appreciated. There was also a bottle of milk in the fridge so we were able to have a brew straight away. Under the sink was a jay-cloth, scouring sponge, enough dishwasher tablets to last us the whole week and some washing up liquid. Now this isn't a criticism but it could be helpful for future visitors to know what ISN'T there so that folk can ensure they include them with their packing ... Spare bin-bags, extra loo-rolls, toiletries and food of any kind apart from the welcome pack. Oh, and the car-parking ramp is very steep so beware! We found it a bit of a challenge at first but soon got used to it. Finally we would all definitely recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a central base from which to tour this beautiful county and we would have no hesitation in booking it again.

Immaculately clean. A really peaceful place. The welcome hamper was a really lovely touch. We often seen deer in the morning. Lots of room for the kids to run around and play. Great central location for visiting all the places we wanted to go to..Eden project,St Micheals Mount,St Ives and all the beautiful beaches there. My only complaint wouldn’t be the creeky flooring which did get abit annoying towards the end of the week. And the bedrooms could do with blackout blinds.

.. Thank You!! My Mum enjoyed her surprise 60th getaway, the location was great with Truro being nice and central for exploring Cornwall. The property itself was perfect for spending time together as a family, the three bedrooms and three bathrooms were just right for what we needed, the property had so many little extras with a very well equipped kitchen, TV's throughout, a table and chairs to sit in the sunshine (when it appeared), a log burner which I imagine is super cosy on those colder days, milk in the fridge upon arrival and a lovely little welcome gift which was incredibly thoughtful. Amazing communication on the lead up to our holiday and throughout, a very warm and welcoming host and i just wish we could do it all over again, i would highly recommend these properties!!

Everything in a kitchen you could want. Lodge was so spacious, en suites and main shower room were perfect.
