"The property and peaceful environment are gorgeous."
Our young Labrador particularly enjoyed access to a while field to run in! Accomodation comfortable and high end. Michelle is so helpful and lovely. A real credit to the owner and she should be acknowledged as she made us feel so welcome. The property is a little remote and it's a decent drive to everything but worth it if you want peace and quiet

"Great place to stay."
Ideal for families and pets. Ideal for visiting lots of places around Cornwall. Michelle really helpful.

"Lovely lodge in a great position to explore Cornwall."
Lovely friendly welcome and clean and comfortable. As others have said the blinds don’t keep the sun out very well but we brought blackout blinds. We will definitely return.

"Our stay at maple was fantastic a very clean and comfortable property great ..."
Our stay at maple was fantastic a very clean and comfortable property great facilities and well equipped plus a awesome location for us and the dogs would highly recommend to others

"Great property - had everything we could have needed."
Comfortable, clean and really spacious ! Perfect location for Truro and Falmouth. We hope to come back next year and rent two lodges so that the rest of our family can holiday with us. Perfect

"The lodge was great, this is our second visit and two different lodges, and they were both excellent."
Michelle looked after us so well, my husband needs raised seats and this was done for us. Having a wet room makes showering so easy for him and the two ensuite rooms are large and comfortable. There is a small amount of noise from the floors but this was not a problem. We will be back next year. Thanks Michelle for making our stay so comfortable.

"Great location, very warm and personal welcome, accommodation spacious and comfortable."
Very well insulated as we had windows and doors open in October. Wood floor needs some maintenance as noisy when walking about but overall had a wonderful stay. Thank you. Surprised that we were the last week of open season as Christmas there would be lovely.

"Would of liked some basic instructions on our to operate cooker and coffee pod machine as never seen one like it ."
Otherwise everything was great

"Brilliant Lodge!"
Fantastic location. Such a high standard, big and spacious lodge. Only down side was the blinds in the bedrooms are quite thin, allowing the morning sunlight to stream in and wake us early! However, a few black bin bags and some blue tack soon sorted that problem! Already booked again for next year!

"Been staying in self catering in Cornwall for over 10 years and this was by far the best place I have stayed… well done and thank you."
-
"There is no doubt these are beautiful lodges."
We stayed in the maple and the reason we scored slightly lower on the comfort was because during the summer when we stayed there was nothing stopping the morning sunlight beaming into the bedrooms at five in the morning, there is blinds in place, but the sunlight does come straight through. The maple is also central to the other lodges and on an evening we had to close the living area blinds as we felt we overlooked other lodges bedrooms. However, we would stay again and would just ask for a better positioned lodge.

"Enjoyed our 7 day stay at the Killiow Maple Eco-Lodge."
Great location for visiting all the places Cornwall has to offer. The Eco-Lodge is set in a tranquil location with plenty of open grass areas for our grand children to play and to walk our dogs.
-
"Beautiful ultra modern luxury lodge."
We will definitely return. A peaceful setting approximately a mile out of Truro and easy to reach Falmouth, Newquay etc. Smart TVs in all bedrooms a bonus. We received a lovely welcome gift of Cornish jam, shortbread, fudge and teabags. Thank you.

"This property was great to stay at, it is in a nice countryside location, only downside for us was it wasn't close enough to the coast for our liking, the property was lovely and clean, we had trouble with the door not locking properly but Michelle the property manager got this sorted immediately even though it was a Sunday."
The lodge itself was lovely and spacious, plenty of room for us 5 adults. We were left a nice welcome pack that contained Tbags, jam, shortbread. There was enough storage for us and even a nice little cupboard with suitcase storage. We took our dog and there is plenty of places around to walk him. The only downside to this property was the floorboards, they are very creaky and noisy all throughout the lodge, getting up to use the toilet in the night was a nightmare with the noise of them, the only plus side to the noise was being on a diet I couldn't creap to the kitchen for a cheeky snack without everybody knowing about it. Would definately stay at these lodges again.

"Great week away with our puppy."
Michelle (thanks), text to check we had the email information on what bed make up we would like and the door code; days before and greeted upon arrival. Electronic door lock which meant no worries on “have I got/ where are the keys”. Relaxed stay, with no issues. Only minor point as mentioned in other feedback are squeaky floor boards. Being able to park directly outside the lodge made easy to load and unload the car. Having dish washer tablets there made cleaning easy. Nice to have the decking, outdoor table and chairs; enjoy the sun and knowing the puppy couldn’t get out. There’s an area next to the lodges of grass area to walk the dog (with a few bins around the place, so we’ll thought of with those with dogs), or I particular liked walking along an old path (which leads to the main road near a Shell garage, so had to turn back) or the actual drive in and towards Kea Church (again a pretty building). For those who don’t know the area like us until we got there, it’s less than 10 minutes drive to Truro where you will find shops, supermarkets and takeaways. About 20 minutes to Falmouth and 35 minutes to where we spent most of our time, exploring the north coast line, which are very picturesque, great for kids, rock-pools, sand, waves for bodyboarding (between St Ives and Newquay) Many thanks

"Lovely relaxing holiday."
The lodge was stunning everything you needed. Floorboards a little noisy when moving about, but on the whole the lodge was comfortable and well equipped. Owner was great and very responsive, lovely welcome package which was so welcome after long trip. You definitely need a car as remote setting but the remoteness was what we wanted. Lovely walks for the pooch. We will be rebooking

"Fantastic property and Michelle who greeted us was lovely, the only downside was the flooring inside."
It makes so much noise when you walk on it so if your up and about before anyone else they’ll know you are.

"Had fabulous holiday The Maple was gorgeous, just an issue with the wood flooring ..."
Had fabulous holiday The Maple was gorgeous, just an issue with the wood flooring dreadful squeaking very loud, and the pillows could do with replacing, beautiful views lovely grounds
Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear you loved Maple and you had a fabulous holiday. The owner will take a look at the flooring and see if it’s possible to reduce the noise, but some adjustment noises are quite normal on a big wooden floor. Maple always offer various pillows but the owner will look into adding some firmer ones. We hope you will visit again for more lovely holidays Property Owner

"Enjoyed our stay very much."
Very spacious and comfortable lodge.

"They have clean and spacious accommodation."
There are also fields / areas to explore if you just want to have a chilled walk around the area. They also have seating areas outside if you want to read a book or have a picnic. The area is just car dependent as there is not much public transport nearby, however as long as you have a driver it is easy to drive to nearby places including Truro city centre, Trelissick Gardens, Loe Beach Water Sports for kayaking and paddleboarding, and King Harry Ferry to get to St Mawes. There is also easy access to the supermarket (by car).

"Very good accommodation."
Lovely quiet surroundings ideal for a group with a dog as we were. The fenced in decking was really helpful. Weather organised by the venue was great after the first day. Thanks to Michelle for the welcome and for dealing with the queries which arose. Highly recommended.

"Maple was a great base for our family holiday, allowing us to visit all areas of Cornwall without spending to much time in car."
The lodge had everything we needed and I would highly recommend it to anyone !!!
-
"The lodge was perfect, really clean and well equipped."
The location was fantastic & we would definitely book again. Michelle, the site manager, was excellent.

"Absolutely perfect lodge in beautiful location!"
! Would highly recommend and will definitely return!!
-
"Perfect apart from the hob which was absolutely useless."

"We had a lovely holiday and the manager, Michelle, was extremely helpful!"
We were very grateful to her for everything, she went above and beyond. However, we were really disappointed by the fact that the floorboards throughout the property were excessively noisy, and this really affected our enjoyment of being there. We were with our one year old son so it made it extremely difficult when he was trying to sleep and we wanted to do anything, like make a cup of tea! The noise was ridiculous. It was impossible to do anything without disrupting everyone else. We were really disappointed by this given the price we paid, and it would stop us from booking there again.
