The property

This spacious single-storey cottage sits privately and quietly in 3 acres of woodland on the Lamellen Estate, 2 miles from the little village of St Kew.

All on one level, The Linney enjoys lovely long west-facing wooded meadow views, creating a peaceful retreat for families visiting this special part of north Cornwall.

There’s ramped access to the ground floor entrance, making this lovely home suitable for those with walking difficulties.

On the ground floor, large light and airy open plan living area with kitchen, sitting area with wood burning stove and dining area with those delightful views and French windows opening onto a neat patio area for shooting the breeze and evening sundowners, and a utility room.

Three comfortable bedrooms, two double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom, both with doors to the garden, and a shower room complete the very smart and comfortable accommodation.

The cottage is very private and peaceful, surrounded by a lovely enclosed garden with lots of grassy space and that glorious woodland.

From March to the end of August you're welcome to walk or cycle 100 acres of private woodland in the Allen Valley (a Site of Special Scientific Interest), accessed 100 yards along the lane.

The River Allen flows through the woodland, perfect for tiddler fishing.

Head off for some tasty grub in the good food pub in the village, or just a little further afield, try the smart restaurants and cafes in the famous fishing village of Port Isaac, also good for a spot of retail therapy.

Perfectly located in a peaceful retreat, The Linney is an ideal base for exploring this very special part of Cornwall.
