  • "We loved our stay at Driftwood."

Chris and Sara the hosts have gone the extra mile to ensure guests have everything they need. The welcome pack was also much appreciated. If you're looking for cosy cottage for 2 look no further than this delightful place, you will not be disappointed. Chris is very knowledgeable about the area if you're into walking. We hope to be back someday to this real home from home. Highly recommended.

  • "The phrase "as stated on tin" comes to mind, which was completely fulfilled."

We enjoyed our stay very much and will certainly rebook next year when we know the Minnack program .

  • "Perfect little cottage in a perfect location."

Couldn't wish for anything better. Everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Small garden area with table and chairs and off the road parking. Sara and Chris, the owners, were so friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. So handy for the Lands End/St Ives coaster bus. Ideal for walks along the Coast Path. No problem with the little airport being close by, not many planes and we enjoyed seeing them taking off and landing - nice little cafe there too. Lots of places to visit close by. Very close to St Just. Larger supermarkets in Penzance, about 15 minutes drive. Can definitely recommend and hopefully we'll be back soon.

Lovely place to stay. All the facilities required in a great location for walking and exploring West Cornwall. Great communication for an incredibly easy start and end to the holiday. Would definitely stay again.

  • "We found the holiday let to be very comfortable, well maintained and it had everything we could possibly want or need."

The let was exactly as described. We received a warm welcome on what was a truly dreadful rainy day when we arrived and we’re then left to our own devices which was great -we didn’t need Chris or Sarah’s help during our stay but felt that they would not have minded in the least if we had needed them. The location was perfect and we were able to have car free days due to easy access to the Coast Path and the Land’s End coaster bus. It was quiet and just what was needed for a relaxing holiday.

  • "Very good base to explore the Penwith Peninsula."

Very clean and comfortable stay and would definitely recommend Driftwood. On looking at the location on the map one might be it off by the adjacent airfield. We’ll, we live a very very quite location and I can honestly say the airfield noise was minimal and didn’t detract from our stay.

  • "My partner and I stayed at Driftwood for 5 nights in August 2021."

The owners had made sure we had everything we needed and were very welcoming. I can’t honestly think of anything they could do to improve our stay. It’s a good base to see all the sights of west Cornwall. The furthest we drove was to Falmouth which was an hour away. Even though Driftwood is right next to Lands End airport, the planes are infrequent and actually quite enjoyable to watch. Randomly, the living room window is perfectly positioned to watch the sunset from the settee. Would 100% recommend.
